The video above is Pentagon a Kpop group singing Shine, one of my favorites by them, at the top.

"I know I said I would wait till you were ready to tell me, but love, will you please tell me why you wear long sleeves and why you were crying when you called me?"
I plop down onto the couch and take a deep sigh. "This may take a while."
Dustin scoots closer to me and sits with his whole body facing me. He mutes the tv so he can hear me better. "I'm all ears love."
"Where should I start first?"
"Can you start with why you were crying?"
I take a deep breath and start the story. "The reason I was crying is because of my best friend Evan. I was minding my own business and hanging out with Jacob when I hear Evan calling my name. I have no idea how he found me considering I forgot my phone at home and he never did answer my question about how he found me but, whatever. Jacob heard him coming before I did so he got defensive and protective and put me behind him. To say that I was flattered that he would protect me is an understatement. I calmed him down by running my fingers through his fur and telling him that Evan would never hurt me. I wasn't ready for when Evan gripped my wrist and I yelped. Jacob got mad again and was ready to attack Evan, but I calmed him down again. Evan asked me why I named him, and I defended myself by saying that it would be rude to just keep calling him a wolf. He rolled his eyes at me and drug me to the playground. When we got back to the parking lot, I ripped my wrist out of his grip and asked him what his problem was. We got into this big argument and he said the one thing to me that I never thought he would say."
"What did he say?"
I take an unsteady breath, "He said that since my father has been dead for 13 years, I should grow up and get over it already."
Dustin's jaw clenches and his whole body tenses up. I reach for his hand and run soothing circles over his knuckles. He becomes a little less tense, but his jaw is still clenched.
"He said that to you?"
I nod my head yes and look down at our conjoined hands playing with his fingers. Dustin takes a deep breath to try and calm himself down. I continue where I left off.
"He said sorry and that he didn't mean it right afterward but, at that moment, he did mean it. And that's what hurts the most. Knowing that at that moment, he said it knowing what the consequences would be and didn't even bat an eyelash. I don't know if I can forgive him for what he said right now but I know I will in the future."
He takes my chin and makes me look at his face.
"I know what Evan said to you really hurt you but in order to move on from what happened today, you have to forgive him. Don't forgive him for his sake, forgive him for yours. You will go crazy for not forgiving him and lose a friendship over something that was said in a moment of anger. I'm not saying forgive him today or tomorrow, but you should make him work for your forgiveness."
I blink at him and stare at him in awe. "Where did you learn that one?"
"I have some experience in not forgiving somebody and it ate me up on the inside until I made them work for my forgiveness."
"I can see where you are going with us. I will take your advice then. Thank you for listening and giving me advice."
"Of course. I will always listen to what you have to say and will always help you out."
I give him a hug and relax into him. The electric shocks come back, but they don't scare me. Instead, they comfort me, and I sigh into the hug.
"Do you want to tell me why you wear long-sleeves now?"
