I felt maybe the slightest bit of regret when I left your house in the morning. For one I lied to you saying I had to go home early when actually I'm going with Renjun. The other being your mom offered to make breakfast but I turned her down. And the third, your sad puppy face when you closed the door saying goodbye.
But I had to go, I'm getting closer with Renjun than I though I was. All I want with him is to be friends, I promise you still have all my heart Jaemin.

After I went home, I cleaned up and made myself presentable. I think we are becoming friends and I like that. There's nothing wrong with being friends with you, even though you're the ex boyfriend to the man I want.
Walking up your doorsteps, I knew today was gonna be fine.
"Hey Jeno, you're right on time" you swung the door open with a bright smile. "Hurry, come in, I want you to meet my parents first."
Wow Renjun, you make it seem like we're dating.
You yanked me into your house, into your boring living room where both your parents turned around to make eye contact with me, they both raising their brows since they've never seen me before.
"Mom, Dad, this is Lee Jeno. The boy that I have been talking about."
Oh? You're talking about me Renjun.
"Uh, nice to meet you Jeno." both your parents spoke softly. "yes, you both as well." I said. It was awkward. No one was talking, we were staring, but you were smiling.
"Well ok then, Jeno and I will be going." you waved goodbye to your parents and out the door we went.
"so I have all these plans set out for us today. but you're gonna have to wait Jeno and see so I hope that you like surprises." you spoke to me with that big smile again. You looked like a child.
"uh I mean I kinda do, but unless the-" "What the fuck!" a angry voice cut the both of us off.
When we turned around, and angry Jaemin was coming down the sidewalk.
Jaemin
I couldn't fucking believe the both of them. First Jeno lied to me, he didn't have anything to do at home, he came out to see Renjun, and second that Chinese bastard is fucking up all my plans like he's not supposed to.
I was beyond pissed.
"J-Jaemin" you spoke, sounding terrified. "What the hell are you doing here Jaemin" Renjun spoke making me look at him instead of you.
"What the hell am I doing? No what the hell are you doing, most importantly, Jeno what the hell are you doing with him." you still wouldn't speak. "Oh come one Jaemin give it break, we're just hanging out, that's what friends do" Renjun said with a wink.
"No, that's not what friends do." I was getting pissed, super pissed. My voice was cracking and I wanted to cry. But I grabbed your arm and pulled you down the sidewalk with me as I shouted "Go home Renjun" Renjun just stared at us with a blank face, not saying anything.
When we made it to my house I pulled you in pushing you right up against the door just as it shut. "What the hell did I tell you, lie to me again and I'll ruin you."
Nothing, you were saying nothing.
"Goddammit Jeno say something, you're only gonna piss me off more and I will keep that promise and you'll be over." you looked at my hands over your wrists. "I uh, don't know what to tell you." I let go of you and looked down. "So that's all I get huh."
It was then silent.
Minutes passed and you decided to speak this time.
"Jaemin why the hell does it matter if I was with Renjun or not. We're just friends and that's it. You said you two were nothing more so you have no reason to be mad." I shot my head up. "You know why I'm mad Jeno, it's because you lied to me, that's why. You were saying you had to go home and do some things while really you went to go hang out with Renjun."
You were getting angry now.
"yeah okay, you know what I'm sorry I lied to you Jaemin, but I didn't tell you because I know you would've freaked out." "Yeah and you're right, can't you see that all Renjun is doing is trying to make me upset. He's only playing with you Jeno, why can't you see that." "Jaemin now you're just getting full of yourself, and anyways what the hell do you have to be jealous about."
I'm gonna say it, don't back away.
"Renjun is trying to make me jealous because he knows I want you okay. I don't want to lose you to him. Ever since you finally got through my walls I fell for you, and I fell hard, and I really can't explain how I feel, but what you make me feel is incredible and I know that no one else could give it to me. I don't want anyone else to put their hands on you except me. Lee Jeno I can't have anyone else but you."
There, I said it.
