EXTENDED SUMMARY
JESSICA JOHNSON HAS ALWAYS BEEN A LOST SOUL SINCE THE BEGINNING. She never really knew who she was until she became best friends with Steve Harrington, the boy who brought much joy and laughter into her world even if he could be annoying sometimes.
Jessica has lived next door to her neighbour Dustin Henderson for all her life. She used to babysit him and his friends Mike, Will, Lucas and played used to play D&D with them. It was strange being friends with a bunch of kids, but she didn't care what other people thought.
Things changed when she started to hangout with Steve and his friends more, and she never really saw the four boys very much just casually around school.
On November 6, 1983, Will Byers goes missing.
Hawkins Indiana, being the small town where nothing bad ever happens, finally does, and Jess is thrown into a world full of evil and darkness and monsters she could never escape from. It started one night when Dustin and the boys radio her on the walki talki asking for help, since they went to go look for Will that night, instead they found something much more powerful than she could ever imagine.
