Matt:not when we both were together..

Me:what do you mean?😑

Matt:I'm loosing myself Macy.. I'm not able to imagine a life without you. it's driving me insane!!

Me:Matt please we already spoke about this, and today after my dad spoke to me, it made me realize that I have to follow what my dad told me to. I can't cheat him anymore Matt, I can't,
Please understand my situation.

Matt:Macy you always tell me to understand your situation but did you ever try to understand mine.?? What I am going through now?

Me:Matt I know I am acting really selfish but I can't loose you nor I have the guts to go against my dad again.
I'm really sorry Matt.

Matt:fine then what do u want now?..
Only "friends" right?

Me:yup!!!

Matt: fine, but for me you are still my love and you will always be that way, remember that.

Me:yeah ok..I can manage maybe!.
So friends?
I mean best friends?

Matt:yeah whatever..

Me:oh my god finally!!
I'm so happy..! Thank you so much Matt !! It means a lot to me.

Ok bye..! Have to study.

I am so glad! finally he accepted to be friends with me!

I am actually felling the weight of guilt on my shoulder slowly being lifted off.

I mean I won't have this guilty feeling nagging me  anymore. And I think I am following all the rules my dad set for me. Now the only thing I need to do is  concentrate on  my studies.

Let's get it over with, I think to myself and resume my assignments.

And finally, I hand over my answer sheet to my biology teacher giving her a last glance who made my life turn upside down, though I secretly thank her for what she did to me.

Wanna know why? Well because I am free now. I mean I don't have any extra baggages that I need to carry in my life, and I feel that I am really being truthful to dad and mom. I am not lieing to them anymore, to me which is the best feeling in the world.

Life seems to be just perfect..

Today is the last day of school then summer break starts for us, results will be out in few weeks though, so fingers are crossed! Hopefully I make it to my dream university.

I quickly Sprint towards my car because the only thing I want to do now is eat lots of ice cream and sleep for a day, because that's what every kid wants to do after they spend sleepless nights studying their ass off for their exams.

Oh my lovely bed here I come....
