What the f**k?!

Macy's POV:
What in the world is wrong with him? Why is he suddenly so interested in knowing me? Does he feel the connection that I felt too?

"Can you let him in?" My subconscious asks. "Will I be able to keep my guards down this time?" I question it back.

I look at his retreating back and think, my life was so simple when I joined here. Soon it turned drastically, from meeting Dan to accepting Emma as my daughter. And now,

Damon..

What do I do with this guy? He is driving me absolutely crazy! I have to push him away from me. I have to do something before he tries to get close to me. I can't take another heartbreak. Not after everything I faced with Matt. So that's why I called the right person to rescue me.

"Hey, I need your help. Can you come over tomorrow?" I am going to clear this mess between us Damon, I think to myself.

You deserve better Damon, way better than me.

Though Damon was expecting me to get into the car with him I went past him with a blank expression on my face and climbed into Dan's car. Both Dan and Becca were looking at me weirdly but I just gave them a pointed look.

When we reached the place I dashed towards the dressing room and I was engulfed by Samuel (my hair and makeup artist) "Oh Macy! I missed you. Come on we have something exciting for you today". Though this new excitement in Samuel didn't give me a good sign, I just smiled at him and tried to be enthusiastic. But my mind was drifting off towards Damon.

Why is he suddenly so adamant to know me? I really hope this plan I made works out tomorrow. "Ok, you are all done now. Make the camera fall on its knees for you" Samuel joked. I just rolled my eyes at his over exaggeration and made my way out.

I stopped on my tracks when I saw what was happening. "WHAT THE FUCK DAN?" I grunted out angrily. This is absolutely ridiculous.

There in all glory, Damon was being shot. And it looked like he was just waiting for me to come. "Look Macy, I want you to stop grinding your teeth for a second and think about this professionally. The manager who looked at all your pictures suggested if you could have a male lead and Damon was willing to do it"

"Of course he is" I cut Dan in between and took large strides towards him. Damon raised his eyebrow like it was a challenge or something.

I can do this. Make him want you Macy and leave him hanging there. Two can play this game pretty boy!

The whole shoot thing back fired on Damon. Because I could see he was struggling against me. He couldn't stop staring at my lips. As of he wanted to devour me. I'm winning this!

Though it turned me on too, but I tried not to show it on my face. All in all I think my mission to seduce Damon worked! After the shoot was done we finalised to few pictures and everyone including me liked a particular one though.

Well, we both looked a little older and mature. Would we look like that together in few years? Wait! What am I thinking. Just then Damon tapped my back and broke me from my thoughts. I gave him my full attention, but making sure to keep a blank face.

"He is trying hard, look at him Macy, show some mercy to the poor guy" my subconscious said. I scoffed at it internally and thought "He is not poor and what I am doing is good for both of us".

"Macy I wanted to ask you-" He was cut in between by Samuel calling our my name. "Macy, you getting a call from someone named 'love' " Perfect timing I thought to myself and answered the call ignoring Damon completely.

"Hey babe! Yeah I just completed the shoot with Dan. We can meet up tomorrow? Yeah that's perfect" I cut the call with a smile on my face and turned towards Damon.

I was shocked to be honest. I could sense fire and storm in his eyes. His fists were clenched and his teeth gritted out "love?" I just shrugged and said "What were you saying?" "Forget it" He said angrily and went back to his room not before punching the wall.

Ouch! I did not expect that!

"I know what you are doing here" Samuel came and stood beside me keeping a hand on my arm. I shook my head dejectedly and answered "not everyone has a happy ending." "But you are concluding it yourself, before even letting him try" Samuel said making me look up at him. I sighed saying "can't risk breaking his heart."

After my little chat with Samuel, we all headed back home because honestly, we were tired. Damon left before us and locked himself in his room by the time Becca and I reached home. I tried to maintain a neutral face, though Becca understood something was wrong between both Damon and I.

After having dinner, my head hit the bed and I was out for the night.

KNOCK KNOCK!  There were loud bangs on my door. I stretched slightly and adjusted my eyes to the sunlight seeping through my window. "Macy open up!" I heard Becca yell once again knocking the door. I grumbled under my breath and opened the door. "What is-" I cut my sentence in between when I saw Damon holding Matt by his collar.

Dear God! What now?!

Before Damon could hit Matt I slipped in between them.

Ladies and Gentlemen! Can I have your attention please. A small suggestion from Macy Wilson here.

"NEVER GET IN BETWEEN A FIGHT!"

Because boy!! My face stung at the impact of Damon's fist! "Fuck!" I hissed while clutching my cheek with my hands. Tears were rolling out and I cried out in pain. I felt two hands engulf me and I instantly felt a jolt of electricity seep through my body.

"Fuck Macy! Why did you come in between? I'm so sorry butterfly. Let me see it please" I heard him whisper into my ears. I shook my head vigorously in pain.
Shit! I hope he didn't break my jaw or something!

"Just stay away from her" I heard Matt growl and he pulled Damon away from me. He kneeled down to my level and lifted me up as if I was light as a  feather. I put my head in the croak of his neck and  saw Damon looking at me in pain.

And with that I was pulled into darkness.
