Macy's POV: Red..
That's what I saw, when I noticed Ashley clinging to Theo's arm.
I wanted to get away from this place, but I was in such a hurry that instead of going for the main door, I went upstairs.
I ran as fast as I could. I could hear the faint yells of my name. But I just wanted to get away from here,
From them..
I was hoping that I can find a common washroom, but my luck wasn't on my side, there were only rooms. I didn't know what to do and I could hear foot steps nearing me.
So I randomly picked the last room in the hallway and locked myself in, I hope James won't mind if I used this room for few hours, it's not like I'm going to distroy his property anyway.
I just need time to think.
The room was complete black, it had a king sized bed in the middle with black sheets, an empty study table, and two doors. I'm sure they were the washroom and the walk in closet. Thankfully there was a balcony connected to the room.
I remove my heels and put them aside and make my way towards the balcony, the cold wind hits my face, making my skin rise up with goosebumps. I fold my arms together and gaze out at the night sky.
It was a beautiful view from here, I wish Theo was here with me.
No! Don't think about him Macy! He chooses Ashley over you,

Just then my phone dings with a new notification I open it and my face instantly breaks into a smile.
Matt: you won'tbelieve it!! I'm shifting to Florida, for business.
Me: maybe we can meet soon?
Matt: stop being so formal women! I'll come over for breakfast. When do your classes start?
Me: not classes, I have clinical postings. I need to head to the hospital by 11. I'll be free come over.
Matt: can't wait!
Atleast something good happened today, I think to myself. I sigh deeply and lean against the railing.
Sometimes, I wish Theo wasn't so complicated. I wish he would open up to me about what he feels, I wish he could choose me to rely on instead of Ashley. It breaks my heart that I'm not able to fill in the spot for him.
"Thank God I found you!" I was broken from my thoughts by a voice behind me.
I turn around and find Theo trying to catch his breath. I sigh and turn towards the night sky. Why did he find me so soon? I wanted to have some time for myself. Didn't he miss Ashley?
