Roommates!

Damon's POV :
"Hey.. Damon" an all too familiar voice called out. I looked behind with a big smile on my face and gave no shit about how jealous this girl in front of me was getting seeing my best friend, non other than Ashley.

I lift her up and twirl her around like a kid! She giggles at me and starts to hit my arm to put her down. "Wow, looks like you came from a runaway show huh?" I ask her, looking at the way she dressed.

She rolls her eyes and says "I know I'm sexy!" "Oh dear, you surely are" I say winking at her. She blushes into a deep pink color which makes me chuckle at her.

I put my hands on her shoulder and we start to walk down the hallway. "Hey man! Wait up" Aiden my best friend shouted from the corner. You could say that we are practically born together since we are inseparable! I pause and wait for him to come over. He let's out a whistle while checking out Ashley, she smacks his arm and he lifts his arm up saying "I was just appreciating the beauty" I chuckle and ask "So what's up?" , "haven't you heard it yet?" I raise my eyebrow at him to continue what he was talking about.

"We need to shift ASAP", confusion crosses my face, clearly not understanding what he was trying to say. "Dude they are renovating our dorm rooms, so they are practically kicking us out of our rooms for the next 6 months!"

"What the fuck man!", "yeah I know, so we gotta pack our stuff right now" "then where do we go?" I ask crossing my hands together. Ashley holds my hand and says "You two can stay with me" I deny immediately "You already have issues with your mom, we don't want to be an extra burden to you now" "but gu-"

Aiden cuts her off saying "No, Damon's right, and anyway we are being shifted to the apartment block" He says smirking.

I look at him weirdly and shrug saying "okay then let's see what we have in store for".

We made our way to the main desk to get our rooms alloted. What I noticed was that all the students were damn excited. I couldn't understand why though.

"Hey Damon," Ashley pulled me out of my thoughts "yes ash? " I purposefully use that nick name I kept for her when we were kids. She rolls her eyes clearly annoyed but ignores it. "let's go party tonight, it's been so long since we even got drunk" I shook my head since I really wanted to unpack my stuff and adjust to this new environment I will be put into. "Not tonight, I have a shit load of stuff to do" she pouts at my reply but doesn't argue further. And that's what made us best friends.

I don't like it when people argue with me!

"Hello ma'am, I'm Damon Salvatore," the lady on the desk looks up at me and smiles "ah! Damon heard a lot about you, so there's a small problem though" she says. I furrow my eyebrows at what she just said! God, today is such a bad day! First they kick me out of my own room, and I get to live with some random person. And now she has a cherry to add on all these problems.!

Great!!

"Well we are out of rooms who have boys in it, Aiden here was the last one to take." I glare at Aiden who is smiling like an idiot! "So where do I go now?" I say irritated at my present situation.

"Well if you are comfortable dear you can stay with Rebecca and Macy Wilson for now. Since they live in a 3 bedroom flat, I think they wouldn't mind" she asked expectantly. When I didn't answer her, she continued "Damon stay with them for a week, see through it and tell me, if you are not comfortable then we will arrange something for you, ok?"

I nod my head, beyond exhausted now. And say thank you and we head towards our dorm rooms to pack our stuff.

"Guys! I have to go, there are like 10 missed calls of my mom." Ashley says frantically while searching for her purse. "Take care ok? Any problem please don't hesitate to call me" I say holding her hand. She smiles at me. I kiss her cheek and let go of her hand.

"Man.. we need more cartons for packing our stuff!" Aiden whines like a child, I chuckle saying "chill I'll go get them." "Can we officially shift tomorrow? I'm too exhausted to even take a step further" he says lazily. I sigh and say "You stay here tonight. I spoke with Rebecca in the afternoon she seemed nice though, and they also have a spare bed for me, so I'll be staying there mostly "

"Yeah or more like fucking Rebecca " He says rolling his eyes I throw a pillow at him and grab my phone and some money and leave to the near by store to buy some stuff.

On my way back it started to rain heavily! Man why is it raining today? I think to myself and start to run towards the apartment block of our campus, and search for the room 304. My shirt is completely drenched and I am freaking freezing! I really need a smoke and a coffee I think to myself and frantically bang the door.

Who the hell bangs the door at 2am!! A cute voice yells at the door. "What the fuck do you want?" A cute girl with a frown on her face asks me. When she looks at me her eyes go wide and her eyes trail down to my now wet shirt, I smirk when I see her gulping nervously.

"Done ogling butterfly? " I ask her. I don't know why but butterfly seemed to be perfect for her, and her pj's made me chuckle internally.

Damn.. she's hot!

"What do you mean ogling over you? i have seen better" she says crossing her hands over her chest. Oh God! Bad move Macy! That chest-
No Damon concentrate on the conversation! I think to myself.

"yeah yeah, I bet you did, now let me in because I am freaking freezing here" I say. She raises her eyebrow and says "go to your own room Damon" and tries to close the door but I stop her and push her backwards, which causes her to stumble towards the wall.

I go closer and whisper into her ear.

"I am your new roommate Macy Wilson. I guess this is going to be fun"

And I walk confidently into the spare room that Rebecca showed me.
