Martina was sure of many things. Of the talent she had worked hard on over the years, of the friendships she had managed to keep in the world of musical theatre, of how many minutes it took to go from the small brownstone she called home to that cute little coffee shop that had those incredible blueberry scones.
One thing she would never understand was why her father had gone through the trouble of sending her mother half the word away to hide their affair. Or why she had decided to leave a letter upon her death. But most of all, Martina would never be quite certain why she decided to look for a sister that might have wanted nothing to do with her.
