MISS DANGER atlanta was cool.
I mean, I constantly feel way out of my depth. like, everyone is so used to this world and the last time I was in a movie set was half a decade ago.
but other than the complete existencial dread, I'm half okay most of the time.

her therapist would probably be disappointed in the self deprecating rant. but it had been a tiring week, full of costume fittings, shooting small scenes and changing details in the script. she was tired, hungry and still a little sad from the death of her fish. bachelor had been a constant, bought on a whim after a commentary made by Doctor Hughes. though now that Martina though about it, the night when that happened was a bit of a blur.
CASPTAIN MARVEL weeoo weeoo weeoo this is the self love police.

JAPTAIN AMERICA when is your next appointment w doc Hughes?
MISS DANGER tomorrow.
as she went to the elevator, her friend's presence (even if only virtual) eased things somewhat.
AARON MAN do you want me to call you?
Martina smiled at the worry they expressed. her fight with anxiety had been long and hard but it seemed to be getting better. Though she loved their small group, Aaron had a special place in her heart.
MISS DANGER later, please. thank you all 🥰
had someone not came in the elevator, she'd have kept on texting the group (it was rare to have them all online at the same time) but someone came in and she had to be polite.
"hey." Jake decided to keep on acting as if that night didn't happen. if she had no memory, neither did he.
"hello!" there was no way to deny he was extremely handsome. she knew from the moment their eyes met during the first table read, trouble was bound to happen. for now they'd both pass it as their character's interactions. the fleeting glances, mild heart eyes.
"when is your flight?" good, safe subject. better than awkward silence.
"in a couple of hours actually." to avoid any staring, she began to twist her toes inside the sneakers. "more like four but I'm headed to the airport now."
"better safe than sorry with international flights." not a question, not a pointer at how it was absurd to arrive so early, just a simple statement of support. it meant so much that she actually looked him in the eyes.
that was a moment, right there, and it would have been perfect if not for a loud screech.
"shit." Martina loudly exclaimed. as if offended, the elevator jolted. "shit shit shit."
"this is not ideal." his comment got no answer.
"you don't say. sorry." she had dialed no way to contact people since her phone was barely connected to WiFi, signal was a lost cause. "this is really not ideal."
they both sat down in defeat.
"this is not how I wanted to spend time with you."
