"please welcome the cast of Spider-Man: Far From Home." Ellen announces to an overly excited crowd. "Jake Gyllenhaal, Tom Holland, Zendaya and Martina Kivi."

the quartet stood for a moment to greet their audience before sitting down on a couch.

"thank you so much for having us today, Ellen." May grinned, smile shining. everyone murmured in agreement.

"the pleasure is all mine, it's the last stop of the press tour, no?"

"yeah, it's crazy to think that this journey is almost coming to an end."

"I have no idea how we are supposed to survive without each other." Zendaya leaned her head against Martina.

"and what's next?"

"well, we all have a lot projects lined up." Jake began to stir conversation in the direction they needed it to go.

they began to answer a lot of questions, even taking some from the audience. it was easily the most fun any of them had had in an interview.

"so what you are telling me is that a ferret invaded set?" even their host had a hard time believing the story.

"yeah. I mean, it shouldn't even be there anymore but I don't know how, it escaped and spent a whole day hiding in Jon's hoodie."

"after that it sort of became a collective pet."

"as much as I want to stay here the whole day, we only have a little more time. I'm sad too but we have a very special video."

May seemed to be the only one not aware of this and she didn't like it. however, her expression remained carefully arranged.

"it's a little glimpse on how we made our movie."

lights dimmed as Daya finished talking and nothing could have prepared May for what would happen next. a sequence of small videos showing her relationship began. their dance during lunch all those months ago. the pair in costume chasing Jon Favreau with water guns. was that their first kiss almost a year ago? and it ended with him surprising her on the last night of her run as Elizabeth Schuyler in Hamilton.

"May, we have done a lot of things these past months but we can do a lot more for the rest of our lives. will you marry me?"
