Weeks had gone by. Many eventful weeks.
Jax had been staying with Liv those past weeks. They were both happy. Jax would visit her during lunch if he could. She would head to Teller Morrow to watch him fix cars when she could. The time they had spent together felt natural to them.
It wasn't until the week after the fundraiser when Gemma broke a croweater's nose with a skateboard that things started to heat up.
Jax had been busy that entire day with Clay locked up for questioning.
She remembered going to see if she could get Gemma out. Liv had just entered the police station when Gemma and Clay were having a screaming match.
She looked at them with her big eyes. Liv remembered seeing some skinny tall atf chick looking at her quizzically. Liv had ignored her and made her way to Gemma's cell. Gemma had refused bail. Unser, the sherif, had talked to her about what happened in detail. A crow eater from Nevada had showed up to the lot. A croweater that had been with Clay. She felt bad for Gemma. Liv took care of the paperwork at Teller Morrow  for the rest of that day to help. Jax had come into the office that night looking proud of himself. He locked the door to the office and removed her clothing right away.

When they were done Liv couldn't help but feel insecure.

"Jax, if you ever cheated on me with those girls...that would be it. I'd be done." She tried saying with a brave face but sadness was evident in her voice.

Jax grabbed her face with a small smile "That's not me, Liv. At least not with you." And it was true. Jax wouldn't risk losing her again.

"I'm your old lady" A smile covered her face now.

Jax laughed and kissed her again.

The next week had been crazier. She walked into the clubhouse shocked at the sight of blood everywhere.

Chibs and Juice were both operating on a man who she had never seen before. Liv had ran straight to the bathroom to throw up. Her nausea had been catching up to her these last few weeks as well. Liv had been meaning to go to the doctor to check it out but didn't think it was necessary yet.

Liv walked back in with a pale face. The prospect had handed her a water bottle.

"Thanks, Eddie." The boy with the ginger hair smiled.
"I brought the tools." Liv handed the bag to Chibs. Jacob was in there helping too. He was a paramedic for four years.
"You're a saint, Livvy." Chibs took the bag. Liv had a friend who owed her a favor who worked at St. Thomas hospital.
"Thanks, Olive oil. I couldn't have been able to get a hold of anything since I quit." Jacob told her.
Liv nodded.
"She said to give him two of these." Liv shook the bottle and gave two pills to the bleeding Irish man.
"You a doctor?" The man asked with drool and snot all over his face.
"A principal" Liv answered.
"Ah, so you must be Irish." He groaned.
"Only half" Liv turned to Juice, "You can take the finger out of the hole now"
"Oh thank God" Juice ran off to wash his hands. Chibs and Jacob seemed to have handled it from there.

Liv sat by the bar feeling tired. Jax joined her.
"How'd it go?" He asked. His hand immediately going to the small of her back.
"He's going to be fine. Gave him pills to stop the infection." She told him.
"Are you okay?" Jax looked at her with worry.
"Feeling sick again. All the blood certainly didn't help. I can't believe this is happening. I've never seen anything like it." Liv spoke. She really hasn't. When she was younger everything was done behind closed doors. Jax trusted her then too but she was too young. He didn't want her exposed to it. Jacob had warned him not to either.

Liv insisted in helping when she felt the tension in the garage the night Cameron, the shot Irishman, was delivered in an ambulance the prospect had stolen in an effort to take "initiative".

She felt fear that night. Jax sensed it. He worried this would send her running for the hills but she stayed put. Gemma liked that.
