Who's to Blame?

"Otto and now Chibs. This guy is trying to break us." Jax tells officer Hale.

"There's gotta be something we can find on this guy." Hale says.

Liv watches them from afar questioningly. Could Hale be telling Jax about what Zobelle did to her and Gemma? No, Jax would have have reacted by now. She continued to talk to the paramedics with Jacob as they strapped Chibs onto the gurney.

"He doesn't make mistakes. I pushed us off retaliation for Otto but after this, Clay will go at Zobelle full bore."

"Then stop it." Hale scoffs.

"Someone hurts us like this we retaliate. Have to."

"That's it? Running blind off a cliff?"

"Maybe not. If I can get to Zobelle first, I can save the club." Jax eyes Hale as he hints at needing favor.

"What happens when you find him?"

"You tell me."

"You asking me to help SAMCRO?" Hale almost laughs. He wasn't Unser. He wasn't under SAMCRO's payroll. He wanted to actually do good for Charming. It was the one thing Liv actually respected the deputy for. Sure, Unser was a family friend but he cowers under the Sons like no other.

"We both know this guy's got some kind of leverage on you. Think of it as a self-serving favor."

"I go off the grid and I help you find this guy, you've got to promise that you will hand him over to me alive."

"What do you do? You can't arrest him."

"Bring him in as a person of interest, question him up to 24 hours. At least it gives Clay a chance to calm down, maybe you get your crew thinking straight." The Deputy Chief explains.

"All right. I get to him first, I give him to you. Do it by the book."

"I'll dig into the cigar shop records, see if I can find a home address."

"Pull Weston's info, too." Jax says lastly.

He's about to light a cigarette when he realizes Liv is only a few steps away.

"Sorry" He puts it back in the box giving her a shy smile.

"It's okay" She sighs.

"What's wrong?" Jax asks.

Liv gives Jax a ridiculous look "Chibs just got blown up."

"We don't know what happened." Jax tells her "It was probably the same guys who had Otto jumped."

Liv freezes and then looks over at Gemma who was listening on by the bench.

"You alright?" Jacob touches Liv's arm.

Liv nods.

Jacob then turns to Jax "Mary wants us to talk to Opie. He hasn't been around his kids. They don't know what's going on. Seems like she wants out."

Jax huffs "Alright, let's go"

He kisses Liv and then walks off with Jake to find Opie.

Jacob is the first to talk when they find Opie in his dorm.

"You living here now?" Jacob asks him as Jax stands by knowing whatever he says, Opie is just going to push away. Jacob ,although, might be able to get to him.

"Crashing once in a while." Opie shrugs.

"Mary's worried about her grandkids." Jax speaks up.

"Said they never see their dad anymore." Jacob adds.
