The line of bikers led the way, stopping traffic so Jax and Liv could get to the hospital quicker.
"Can I get a doctor?" Jax yells as he helps Liv out of the car. A nurse brings out a wheelchair and quickly jots down their information at the front desk.
They are soon rushed to a room.
"Oh goodness" Liv scrunches up her face at the feel of a contraction. Jax rubs her back. "How long did they say the doctor would take?"
"He'll be here soon" Jax whispers and rubs her belly.
Gemma then comes waltzing in with a big smile "Are you ready, baby?"
"No" Liv shakes her head and makes a face at the next contraction.
"Hey," Jake pokes his head through the door "is it not a good time to tell you about how I almost dropped the soap in prison?"
Liv glares at him "Get in here!"
Gemma laughs "The doctor hasn't gotten in yet?"
"Nah, not yet." Jax answers.
"I'll go see if I could find them" Gemma exits all giddy.
"Jax, we're going to have to induce and have the baby now so we don't risk infection..." Liv says worriedly.
Jax nods "We'll do what we gotta do, babe."
"Found this one" Gemma opens the door. Ryan Hale steps in.
"Yeah, not gonna happen" Jax steps in front of Liv protectively.
"I had a feeling...so I requested Dr. Gomez. She's great, Liv." Ryan looks over to Liv and smiles. Liv thanks him and the doctor that Ryan was talking about steps in.
As expected, they were going to have to induce now. No one wanted to risk the health of Liv or the baby.
"Alright, Ms. Cayce. Are we going to have these three present?"
Liv nods looking at her loved ones. Dr. Gomez inserts the drip into her arm that will induce her. "It might take a couple of hours"
Liv takes in a deep breath and then lets it out.
"I forgot to grab the goddamn camera" Gemma smacks her forehead.
"I'll go grab it" Jake tells her.
"Nah, it's alright, I'll ask Clay. I'll send them home since nothing won't happen for a while. I'll be back."
"Imma grab something to eat. You want something?" Jake asks Jax specifically.
"Yeah, whatever is fine" Jax nods.
Jake follows after Gemma leaving the couple behind.
"What's with the dried blood?" Liv starts.
"Got into it with Clay"
"You alright?"
Jax nods "Needed to happen."
"Jax, I don't know how we're going to raise Abel in this world. He's not even here yet and so much has happened. Could you imagine if you weren't here for his birth?" Liv buries her face in her hands.
"Hey" He pulls her hands down "Is there anything you love so much, you'd protect it no matter the cost? The damage it did to you?"
"Yeah, a child." Liv looks at him.
"That's how I feel about this club. Since I was five, all I ever wanted was a Harley and a kutte." Jax says.
It's true. For as long as she's known Jax, he's wanted that kutte. More than Jacob. More than Opie. He's always felt that he has owed it to his father who had died when he was fifteen, three years before Liv's parents had passed away, to take on his legacy. But now he feels the need to steer the club in the right direction. Jax claims it's what his father wanted all along but Liv didn't know if it would be worth it.
