H I C C U P
The next morning, I left the house to go to the shop. I wanted to make Astrid another ring, a better one. I felt kinda bad about what happened at the cove, but then the guilt disappeared when my whole family (and Astrid) agreed that Monica should be gone.
I melted some Gronckle Iron (the strongest iron known to Berk) and filled a small mold.
I took it out and the ring was finished. I smiled as I stuffed it in my pocket.
Then I heard wingbeats.
"Hiccup, you in there?" Astrid asked as she landed next to the shop.
"Uh, yeah, coming!"
Astrid jumped off of Stormfly with her axe in her right hand.
"What... were you making?" She asked, referring to the shop.
"Uh, nothing. Looking for some pictures, is all. Didn't find them, of course." I replied with sweaty palms.
"Astrid! Are you coming or what?" I heard Snotlout scream from the air.
"Oh! Yeah, I'll see you later." Astrid said as she kissed my cheek and followed Snotlout to the Dragon Racing totem.
I shook my head and smiled as I saw Astrid fly away.
"Now to get this to my mom." I said as I ran back to the house.
