Emma's Plan

*Asher pov*

The guards took my mothers and Leon's bodies. Ventus and Sora block the door so I can't leave as I try to leave behind them. I look at Ventus and Sora. "Please let me out of here." "What you just said, I don't ever want you to say that again. I am so happy I found you. If I wouldn't have, you wouldn't have had to deal with not having a family. I wouldn't have met someone Emma and I could call our son. I don't regret you coming into our lives. I need you to understand that what happened wasn't your fault. It was only Sephiroth's fault and he will pay for that. Your mom knew what she was getting into while coming. She is persistent on helping her family, even if it is something that she would be risking her life for." I looked down and sighed heavily. "She talked to me before this whole thing. Talking about how she loved me and how if something were to happen to her it wasn't my fault. You don't think that she would have done something before to ensure that we were all safe do you?" Zack looked at me and then my father. "I did see her looking for someone and I just assumed she was looking for you. Maybe she could have gone and-" I see my father and Zack looking at me worriedly. "Asher are you okay?" I look down and stumble a bit. I look at where my mother was and then I passed out and everything goes black.

*Dream start*

I was in the same place as I was talking to my mother before going out to talk to her. I turn and follow her to where she ended up. I stood there in shock seeing her talking to Sephiroth. I watched them talk. I noticed my mother looked nervous. She looked around to see if anyone following her. She then pulled Sephiroth to a more secluded spot. "Okay, I don't know what you have planned for Asher... but you have to promise me that you won't do anything to hurt him. I will sacrifice myself if you let him live. I don't care what happens to me. If anything happens to him, I will come after you." He just smiles and laughs. "I will do whatever you would like me to do. I won't kill him. But I get to kill you in place of him." She looked down and nodded. "It's a deal. But he can never know that it was all planned and you have to promise to leave him alone after!" He nods. "You have my word. I will not harm him." My mother then turns around and walks over to where my father is to look for him. What she didn't plan on happening was someone grabbing her from behind and dragging her to a point where Leon was also getting dragged out. She looked at Sephiroth and glared because it was only supposed to be her that was getting killed. She looked forward and then it goes back to the last part that I have ever seen her alive. The dream then went to a different scenery and I saw my mom standing there with a mysterious woman, she looked familiar but I have no clue who she was. She looked back at me and smiled, my mother then looked back also and smiled a sad smile and mouthed to me that she was okay and that she loved me. After a few minutes everything went black again.

*Dream End*

I woke up and sat up fast. I groan and hold my head only to see that I am in one of the guest rooms of the palace. I look over and see Violet on one side of the bed laying next to me. I look over at the other side and see Zack and my father. The door opens and I see Sora walking in. "Oh you're up! It's so nice to see you up and moving." I looked at him then started tearing up and panicking. "So it really did happen...my mother is dead." Sora sadly nodded and then sighed as the others started to wake up. Zack looked at me and smiled sadly. My father did the same. I sighed and then looked at both of them. Violet woke up and then put her hand on my shoulder. I looked at her and shrugged her off. She looked hurt by that but all I wanted to do was get out of here so I wouldn't hurt anyone. "Its my fault. She planned on sacrificing herself for me. She was planning this from the beginning. I have to leave...I can't stay here without people getting hurt because of me. At least until he is gone. He threatened everyone I love and care about. If something would happen to Avery...I don't know what I would do." I look at everyone, I see that they all look upset over that. "I'm going to go and see Avery for a bit and then I am out of here. I will find a different world to live on. I need to find him and kill him before he hurts anyone else." I got up and walked out without hearing what any of them had to say.
