Leaving Everything Behind

*Asher Pov*

I walked over to see Avery playing with the little boy she was dancing with at the ball. I smiled seeing Aqua walk in and as soon as she does that she gives me a sad look. "I know you want to leave. But just imagine how much that would hurt Riku and Zack. Riku just lost his wife and you want him to know the loss of losing his only child too? Also Zack just got you back too. He wants to get to know you. Just realize that all of this wasn't your fault." "I just came down here to play with Avery and say goodbye. I have already thought of what I was planning on doing. No one can change my mind. Once I find Sephiroth and kill him, then I will return and only then." I walked past her and started playing with Avery and the little boy, who I found out his name was Lucas. I smiled at the both of them. After a while of playing I pulled Avery aside and sighed sadly. She looked at me confused and then a little bit upset when she saw that I was upset. "Avery, I have to go away for awhile. I don't know when I will be back. I have to figure some things out for a a little bit." She looked like she was about to cry because she realized that I was being serious. I looked down and she then looked at me and she did something that I never expected her to do. She shoved me backwards and then she started punching me. It didn't hurt when she punched me but it did hurt to see her this upset about me leaving. Aqua came in and pulled Avery away. "Avery I will come back okay? I love you and you need to stay safe." Aqua put her down and she glared at me. "I don't like you anymore because you're leaving me!" She ran off in the opposite direction and then I headed out of the castle, leaving everything behind, to find the person who murdered my mother. Before I left I saw someone who I haven't seen in a while. I smile when they walk closer. "I thought you died in the last battle. What are you doing here." The person smiled and laughed. "Riku called me. He told me you were leaving and he knows you want to be alone, but you should have someone with you. At least to help you train." I looked down. "How mad is he at me?" "Not mad, he understands. He just wants to make sure you are safe so he doesn't lose anyone else, your mother just died. He can't lose you either. Blood or not you are still his son. Your mother also went through something like this too. She thought the darkness was going to take over. She got through it though. You never know maybe you will do." I laughed. "See you do care about us." He looked at me and playfully shoved me. "Oh shut up Asher. I had to help guard you as a kid. You were the first person I probably cared about. Your parents were surprised." He laughed and then we were off. We decided to go to one place where I could be alone. What we didn't know is that when we came back, nothing will be the same. I looked at Vanitas and we went to Arandelle.
