Lauren Henderson woke up to the sound of her little brother screaming at the top of his lungs.

She groaned as she attempted to drain out his voice with her pillow, but Dustin kept yelling her name...over and over again, until she had no other choice but to acknowledge him.

"I swear to god if you're being dramatic again..." She whispered to herself.

She angrily lifted herself off her bed and huffed as she made her way to the kitchen.

"Why the hell are you screaming?" she said in a low yet threatening tone as she leaned on the kitchen door. She tilted her head as she took in the scene in front of her.

Dustin stood facing the open fridge, one hand on his forehead and the other searching the fridge for whatever the hell he was craving that morning. His hair was curly and tousled, he was in his blue pajamas and he had a frown on his adorable little face.

Dustin Henderson slowly turned around and pointed his finger at the top shelf of the fridge. "Where's the chocolate pudding? There were three up on that shelf yesterday morning!" he said, accusing his sister...who just stood there, bewildered.

Her face dropped into a serious glare as she looked at her younger sibling. She closed her eyes for a second, attempting to control her temper. Lauren took a deep breath in....counted to 10...and then.

"ARE YOU SERIOUS DUSTIN?" Lauren's voice echoed through the hallway.

"WHO ATE MY CHOCOLATE PUDDING?" Dustin's voice echoed louder.

Lauren's mouth dropped before her face shifted from shocked to amused.

Her brother getting angry over pudding suddenly felt like the joke of the year. She laughed.

"Its not funny!" Dustin said, defending his argument.

Lauren tried to shake the smile off her face. "It's a little funny" she argued. "Mom probably ate it while watching her soap operas...just ask Mews" she said as she turned around and Dustin scowled at her retreating figure as she suggested he ask the cat.

Lauren got ready for the day, she brushed her wavy light brown hair, and put it into a ponytail. Lauren's hair wasn't as curly as Dustin's, although she personally wished it was.

Then she walked to her room and put on her jeans and a bright yellow tee, which she tucked into the jeans.

She grabbed a jacket and her vans and headed towards the kitchen for breakfast. She walked in to find her mother making some pancakes.

"Oh yum" Lauren said as she grabbed the nearest batch. "Good morning honey!" her mother said, cheerfully. "Ready for the day?" she asked as she flipped the pancake on the pan.

"I hope so"

Lauren walked into high school, smiling sweetly at whoever looked her way.
