2 weeks later—
Elena's POV
It's been two weeks since we've started to tell Lexi about everything supernatural, and she has been taking it very well. Bonnie's been helping her with her magic, and Damon, Caroline, Stefan, and I have been spending time with her to help her manage her vampire side. She doesn't absolutely love the animal blood that Stefan and I give her, but it's for the best because we still don't know how it could affect her, and we haven't told her about Stefan's ripper side because we were afraid it would scare her. I had to be convinced a little more than Stefan, that Lexi would be okay, that she would get through this as strong as ever. I feel a pair of strong arms snake around my waist and a small kiss on my shoulder. A comfortable sigh leaves my lips as I sink back into Stefan's body. We both stare out of the window that I have been looking at for the past 10 minutes.

Stefan:"What are you thinking about?"

Elena:"Nothing. Everything."

Stefan:"As always."

I huff out a small laugh as he places another kiss against my shoulder.

Stefan:"You ready to go?"

I turn in his arms and softly kiss his lips. His own lips form a small smile within the kiss and mine mirror his.

Elena:"Absolutely."

He takes my hand in his and we walk out of our room and downstairs to find Damon and Bonnie all ready for us to head out. Damon, Bonnie, Stefan, and I were taking Lexi out into the woods so she could practice her magic and work on her vampire abilities.

Damon:"All set."

Elena:"Yup. Where's Lexi?"

Lexi:"I've got my backpack and my snacks."

She comes skipping into the living room from the kitchen.

Stefan:"And what about our snacks?"

She giggles as she puts her backpack on.

Lexi:"Aunt Bonnie has lunch in the picnic basket."

We all laugh, grab our coats, and head out the door. After walking for a while we finally get to our spot. Stefan and Damon set everything down and pull out the food while Lexi, Bonnie, and I head down by the stream. Once we're sitting by the water Lexi takes off her back pack and pulls out the medium sized, leather bound, hardback book that Bonnie had given her when she started to teach Lexi about her magic. Bonnie and I watched her skim through it; reading everything she had written down. I smile as I look down to see her delicate handwriting. I decided a while ago that it was definitely a trait she had gotten from Stefan. He had only begun to teach her how to write in cursive a week and a half ago, and she was already as good as he was.

Lexi:"Aunt Bonnie can we practice our magic now."

Bonnie:"Absolutely, come on we should start before lunch."

And with that they went off. They walked towards a small area further down the stream that held numerous flowers and a tree that cast the perfect amount of shade. I sit there watching as Bonnie shows Lexi a variety of things. I hadn't noticed that Stefan and Damon finished setting up until Damon walked over to Bonnie and Lexi, and I felt Stefan's hand rest on my lower back whilst he sat beside me. I turn, tilt my head up a bit, and smile at him. He smiles back and places a kiss against my lips that fills me with complete happiness.

Elena:"Hi."

Stefan:"Hi."

I turn back around and lean against his chest as I let out a happy sigh. We contently watch Bonnie and Lexi do a couple spells and a little later Damon play with Lexi. About 40 minutes later we all start to get hungry, so we decide to eat lunch. We all eat and laugh; enjoying our perfect day. A little while later we spread out a second blanket, so Bonnie, Damon, Stefan and I could all sit back and watch Lexi attempt some spells on her own.
