TW: mention of blood
Dee hears someone whisper something in the room across the Basement Landing. He's about to call out, ask who's there, but then he hears a scream.
They all do. The sound is like nothing a human should ever be able to make.
Dee rushes to the Gymnasium, looking for who's there, but he sees no one.
"Is everyone okay? Who was that?" Patton's voice crackles as he frantically consults everyone through the walkie talkie.
Dee retreats back to the Mystic Elevator as he checks in. "It was someone down here in the basement."
"I'm in the Gardens." Roman provides.
Patton sounds worried as hell. "I just saw Virgil... and it wasn't me... Logan?"
For a moment, Patton receives no answer.
"It's inevitable in a place like this, that the universe conspires to bring about bloodshed."
The others shiver. Logan's voice is harsh, dangerous. It's a tone they've never heard from him.
"Unfortunately for you four, I have a distinct advantage here."
Dee sees the Gymnasium door move, but no one's standing there. "He- he's invisble! How?"
