"So how was your first day?" Peter asked as soon as I got out of my last period.

"It was amazing! But hey, can you help
Me find my locker really quick. I haven't been able to figure out where it's been this entire day."

"Oh yeah sure." He grabbed the piece of paper out of my hand and looked for my locker number. He looked shy and nervous for a split second then returned his eye gaze to me.
"You have Locker 1185, it literally the one right next to mine." He smiled with a cheesy grin.

"Oh awesome, let's go then."
Peter and I walked side by side over to my locker, which was the one literally right next to his, he was locked 1184. I honestly don't know how people are able to navigate through this school. There are a bunch of different stairs and hallways and it just seems so hard to figure it all out.

I opened my locker and began to shove my entire backpack in it.
"Umm, aren't you going to need that tonight?" he asked

I gave him a puzzled look.
"No I don't think so, why would I?"

A tiny grin began to appear on one side of his mouth as he lifted an eyebrow in my direction, then turned his gaze to my bag shoved in my locker.
"Homework.." he said is pretty much the cutest way possible.

Cute as in adorable obviously. Nothing else...

I couldn't help the giggle that escaped me as I politely covered my mouth with my hand.
"Peter, some of my classes didn't even give me homework. Said that I should "settle in" for a day or two before having to start anything. And the classes that did give me homework, I finished during that period. Piece of cake." I clapped my hands together.

He stood there, a tiny bit shocked.
I've noticed that his go to face whenever he is even the slightest bit shocked, or even when someone does something shocking to him, is his eyes wide, and mouth slightly parted.
But as always, he quickly fixed himself and nodded.
"That's cool."

I simply nodded at his comment as we began to walk to the front of the school. The hallways were all empty by now, and it was just us. It felt calming, and peaceful. As if everything was right. All of today was amazing and good, I haven't felt a day like today in a very long time...
Just as I was about to turn to Peter, I saw a girl enter just down the hall.
She was tall with a perfectly dark and smooth complexion. Black straight hair that fell just below her shoulders, and skinny. She was so skinny and the perfect figure.
Not to mention how beautiful she was, pretty enough to make any other girl self conscious.

Well, not any girl I guess, just me.
I instantly grew jealous, and no I won't be turning into the hulk at anytime. But I was sad upon my own appearance. She seemed perfect and fun right off the bat, in my own mind, I was plain.
Just a normal bagel.

I turned to peter, and by the look in his eyes, he thought she was insanely pretty as well. I could practically see his dreaming of them dancing in his eyes.
He froze at the sight of her, and in no doubt, I was the invisible one.

"Oh, hey Peter." She said calmly.
"Are you going to practice today?"
I almost felt the need to turn away and disappear as soon as she began to talk to him. Maybe he wanted alone time with her?

I began to slowly back away with hopefully him not noticing. But a firm grasp latching onto my hand in less than a second told me my mission was unsuccessful.
"Uh, h-hey Liz. Umm.. no I'm, im not going today. B-busy." He sighed out with a hint of laughter.
