~A month before~

First day of training, or rather being a teacher. Jungkook was not excited at all. He met the boy he had to teach, and he did not like him.

Not one bit.

He was irresponsible, annoying, ill-mannered, careless, and well... just not prince like at all.

He didn't even look like a prince- okay maybe. His face screamed regal, but the rest of him was just awful. Jungkook wanted to gag when he saw him the first time, but that wouldn't be kind at all. His vibrant red hair stuck out in the crowd like a sore thumb. Granted, it was a small crowd, for the party hadn't started yet. The guests were just arriving and the hosts, King and Queen Kim, were still adding last minute touches. Their god forsaken son, Prince Taehyung, wasn't ready at all. His annoying red hair wasn't styled and he was wearing sweatpants.

To a formal party celebrating the kingdoms.

Thank god he went upstairs and changed to something much more pleasant. Something much more fit for a prince. In fact, Jungkook was pretty sure one of the Kim's maids had set the outfit out for the young prince. There's no way he picked it out himself.

And although Jungkook was completely disgusted by the lack of manners in the boy, he didn't dare show it. Jungkook was great at keeping his thoughts hidden and playing the role of a neat prince, especially at a party in front of hundreds of other royals and their accomplices.

"Prince Jungkook?"

Jungkook tilted his head to the side and blinked a few times, freeing himself from his morning thoughts of seeing the probe for the first time.

"Oh Jimin, it's just you..."

"Sorry for scaring you sir."

"For the last time Jimin, please don't call me sir. You're older than me, it feels unusual."

"Sorry s- I mean Prince."

"Thank you, now what brings you here?"

Jungkook watched Jimin place folded clothes next to him on the bed. This is part of the daily routine, he even knows what Jimin will say next.

"Your parents want you to get dressed and-"

"Meet them for breakfast."

"Yes, before King Kim, Queen Kim, and Prince Taehyung arrive."

"Alright, thank you for everything Jimin."

"You're welcome Prince Jungkook, and I'm your personal butler, it's my job to be amazing."

Jimin grins and leaves the young prince to get dressed in his outfit. It's a simple white blouse, black slacks, and a butterfly patterned blazer. A little more out there than he's used to but perfect nonetheless. He brushes his fingers through his hair and looks at himself in the mirror, fixing and smoothing out the wrinkles.

Once he gets there he sits down in his usual chair that was kindly pulled out by a maid nearby. Jimin makes casual banter with Jungkook's parents across the table while servants set the table with a variety of silver cups and silverware, fancy white platters, and even neatly folded napkins to look like doves.

Jungkook takes his napkin and carefully unfolds the white fabric, connecting two opposite corners of the square to form a triangle in which he lays on his lap. Just as he finishes smoothing it out, the sweet, pink haired head chef comes out and places fruits, juices, breads, yogurts, and a few other things to suffice for a quick healthy meal as the King needs to attend a meeting with the staff- preparing for the upcoming guest, of course.

"Thank you, Chef Seokjin." Jungkook's father says firmly yet warmly.

Seokjin smiles and bows politely, exiting the large room to leave the four to eat in peace, excluding the few guards lining the perimeter of the room.

"Jungkook?"

The young prince reaches for his silver spoon and holds it patiently in his hands while one of the maids swiftly placed bowls of oats in front of the four table participants.

"Yes mother?" He asks, titling his head to the side, waiting for his mother's question. She asks it in a sweet tone, smiling happily as if the person she's talking about isn't a total slob at keeping a royal image.

"Have you prepared your first lesson for Prince Taehyung? Your father said he wishes for you to start as soon as possible."

"Yes, I have prepared everything needed for Prince Taehyung's arrival. I'm even giving the tour myself as part of his training."

"That's a good idea son, you're going to be a great King someday."

Jungkook glances at the King before taking a bite happily from the bowl in front of him.

"Thank you father. I learned from the best but I surely hope you won't be stepping down anytime soon."

His father chuckles loudly, the room instantly filling up with a sense of warmth that even makes Jimin smile besides Jungkook.

After that the small family, including Jimin of course, finishes their breakfast in peace. Jimin has always been considered family, since the start. He's only two years older than Jungkook, meaning a big enough age gap for him to teach Jungkook but small enough for them to feel close.

And they do.

Jimin has always felt like a responsible older brother to Jungkook- though he is only the brunette's personal butler- and the whole castle treats him as if he is pure royalty along with the other three.

The Jeon Kingdom is that of a happy and humble one, everywhere you go you have a sense of feeling at ease... at home. The King and Queen are overwhelmingly happy and nice, treating the town with the best kindness they can muster. Sure we have a few secret advisors around, to deal with security for the Kingdom. But in all honesty, there hasn't been an argument in the region for decades. And from the looks of it, there won't be one anytime soon.
