Taehyung, an irresponsible, ill-mannered, annoying, careless prince.
Jungkook, the perfect heir to the Jeon throne and the most respectful and poised prince out there.
Who knew that meeting each other under unwanted circumstances would change everyt...
Sorry sir that's not allowed^ ———————————————————— It was day eight of being in Seokjin's home and Taehyung was done waiting. He paced for minutes on end, Jungkook waiting idly beside while chewing on his thumb nail incase Taehyung needed him. And finally he threw his hands up and groaned loudly, stomping over to the door and ripping it wide open. It happened quickly and Jungkook flinched, clutching onto his arm tightly.
"I sure hope you weren't planning on leaving just now, right?" Jimin said, an eyebrow raised as he tilted his head back cockily. His lowered his fist from its previous position of being in the air and invited himself in, bowing slightly once he saw Jungkook.
"I'm sorry, but I'm not going to lie. I was going to go out." Taehyung shrugged, frustration bubbling under his skin. Jungkook carefully walked towards him and slipped his hands around his left arm, hugging his side comfortingly.
"After I told you not to?" Jimin scoffed. "Look, I'm not going to say I understand how bored you two may be or whatever but it's dangerous to leave here. King Jeon has had search parties going since you left a week ago."
"We can't just sit here Jimin." Taehyung mumbled, furrowing his brows. Jungkook didn't like seeing them full of anger and some sadness. He didn't like it at all. "Waiting here is no better than being trapped there."
"That's a lie and you know it Taehyung." Jimin said, the reality of the situation weighing down on his shoulders like a heavy blanket that was soon to suffocate him any second. But he was doing it for Jungkook, the boy who he practically grew up with. For Jungkook's safety and for the love he discovered. "Do not take what you're being given for granted. Me and so many others are working to get you safe and comfortable and happy. Sitting here, alone with Jungkook, should be more than enough."
And Jimin did have a point, Taehyung knew that. But he didn't want to sit around, because even here, even though he was receiving aid in his battle to rebel against the region, he was being told what to do. He wasn't helping himself like he wanted. He wanted to help and he wanted to save Jungkook himself. He couldn't sit around and wait, that wasn't enough.
"Jimin..." he said quietly. The thick tension of the room slowly dissipated and turned to one of sadness and pity. "I can't just sit around. I know, it's selfish, but this isn't what I wanted. I don't want to live on the run, I want to leave. I want nothing to do with royals and I want Jungkook. Is that so much to ask for...?"
"No Tae..." Jimin said, walking up closer to the couple. Taehyung's head hung low as Jungkook squeezed his arm, hot tears slowly slipping down his cheeks as he buried his face in Taehyung's sweater. "After living your whole life in a place you didn't want to be, there is absolutely nothing wrong with asking what you want." And Taehyung's face fell. The last remaining sliver of composure he had broke and his body shook as he cried. Jimin- the one who knew his words had pushed Taehyung over the edge- stepped forward and tugged Taehyung into his arms, which also pulled the silently weeping brunette in too.
He felt bad, it was clear. Taehyung, the one who hated the life he was born into, and Jungkook, the one who was so confused with what he wanted. Everything he had ever known turned on him so fast it was hard for him to comprehend that his dad was searching for him, forcing him to be king, and become betrothed to someone he definitely didn't want to be with.
Jimin felt guilt tugging harshly at his chest and the only thing he wanted was for these two to get what they deserved.
"We're going to get you both somewhere happy. Together. I promise."

Jungkook and Taehyung spent most of the day cuddling, and when the moon was high in the sky Taehyung quietly woke Jungkook up from his nap.
"Jungkookie it's time to go."
"Where?" He asked, voice groggy and thoughts mushed.
"To go see Jimin and the others silly." Taehyung chuckled. Jungkook huffed and rolled out of the bed, dragging the covers along with him. He smiled happily and stood there.

"Is everyone going to be there?"
"I think Jimin said he was going to try and get everybody."
"Okay..." Jungkook yawned. The two got ready and we're out the door quickly. Taehyung was grateful Jimin had set up a meeting for everyone. He was happy to leave Seokjin's house and see the others.

They walked hand in hand quietly until a small bar came into view and they made sure the sign matched what Jimin had told them earlier. He decided hiding the two princes in plain sight would be best, but only for one night. So they pushed the door open, the sweet smell of sweat, smoke, and alcohol filling their noses.
"I never thought I'd say this but I'm happy to be at a bar." Jungkook muttered as they moved through the small crowds of people. Taehyung chuckled and held Jungkook by his waist, and when they approached a booth, seeing Jimin's familiar handsome face they sat down.
"Where's the drinks." Taehyung sighed. Then he noticed the people around him, and instead of having a damper mood a spark of happiness touched his heart.
"Namjoonie!" Jungkook squealed excitedly. He threw himself as Namjoon quickly, clutching him tightly. Namjoon, who was sitting there- also looking strikingly handsome- wrapped his arms around Jungkook's shoulders and squeezed him affectionately. He chuckled quietly, his deep baritone like tone sending waves of comfort through Jungkook.
"It's nice to see you Kookie."
"I missed you." He whispered quietly, pulling back. Hoseok was next to him, Yoongi then Jimin, and Seokjin sitting beside Taehyung.
"I missed all of you guys." Jungkook said happily.
"So," Seokjin said, clearing his throat as he angled his body towards the couple. "Have you ruined my house? Are my sheets clean?"
