Jungkook stood in the foyer directly under the large silver chandelier, waiting with his hands crossed in front of him.
Taehyung was supposed to arrive any minute now, so he waited.
And waited.
Of course he suspected the older would be late. He expected a lot of things from the other prince, including laziness, a strong belief in being stubborn, and of course the fact that he wouldn't even pay attention.
But Jungkook, being the nice, as perfect as he could be prince, he decided to start out easy for the other royal.
Jungkook was going to start out with small things like posture, act, manners... anything that made someone appear as a King. He'd get into strategies and tips later, he had a feeling the red head wouldn't listen if Jungkook started off with what he knew Taehyung would consider 'boring'.
"They're here." Jimin said quietly, taking his respectful place next to Prince Jungkook.
"Good, I'm ready to start this training."
"You are?" Jimin asked, looking over at the younger yet taller boy. Jimin wasn't royal, and he used that as an excuse to act less graceful sometimes. He'd crack the occasional joke but it wasn't anything like wearing sweatpants to a formal gathering.
Sometimes Jungkook found it peaceful to listen to Jimin just speaking normally.
"Yes, it's a great learning experience for me as well. As King, I might need to know how to deal with issues hands on, whether they are regarding other people or not."
"Hmm... well I have a feeling you'll change your mind quickly."
"What makes you say... that..." Jungkook's sentence slips away, disappearing into the abyss as the large front doors of the castle fly open and in struts Prince Taehyung, velvet red shoes clicking against the marble floors.
Taehyung rolls his eyes and stuffS his hands into his pockets, not caring to greet the two boys in front of him.
Jungkook just stands there and blinks, at a total loss for words while a few of the Kim's staff files in after their prince.
Taehyung looks... well... good.
Like a prince, kind of.
Jungkook's just happy that he didn't show up in a beanie and aviators.
And he styled his hair, that horrifyingly bright red, similar to Jungkook's except the older's has more of a lazily feel to it. A few curls pop out here and there while Jungkook made sure his was nice and straight before the arrival.
But... Taehyung's a guest, the least he can do is thank the Jeon's for letting him stay in their castle.
Jungkook of course knew this would happen so he's prepared to do things for himself. That's most likely how things will go for a while.
"Hello Prince Taehyung. Welcome to the Jeon castle. I'm Prince Jung-"
"Prince Jungcock or whatever- yeah I don't care I just want to know where I'm staying."
'Excuse me?' The younger prince thought in shock.
He clenched his jaw quickly and then smiled fakely, bowing reluctantly to the other, completely ignoring the inappropriate 'joke' made by the insolent red haired boy.
"Of course, I'll lead you there and then we can begin the tour."
Jungkook turns around in hopes that Taehyung follows, which he does after rolling his tongue against the inside of his cheek in annoyance.
Jimin decides to wait downstairs, not wanting to stay with the two any longer, already sensing the tension between them.
The younger prince walks quietly up the large curved stairs with the other reluctantly in tow. Jungkook's mind was racing around, trying to keep himself from scolding the other.
Well, shouldn't he?
He wanted to put Taehyung into place, he wanted to tell him who's Kingdom he was in who's boss.
Actually, why not?
Jungkook stops in the hallway and smirks, the older almost walking into the back of him. He turns around and Taehyung raises an eyebrow.
"Why did you stop?"
"Your first lesson starts now."
