The next few days were long and tantalizing, and Jungkook barely caught a wink of sleep before he was up early and being pushed around by an angry Jimin. He was frustrated with getting the younger ready so early in the morning while he was nervous and moving around so much.

"Jungkook your arm isn't even in the right hole! Shut up and stop moving!"

"I-I'm sorry but I-"

"Be. Quiet." Jimin growled, fixing the Prince's shirt. "Thank you. Now more talking until you're done getting ready."

Jungkook nodded hesitantly and let Jimin dress him. He wore a simple white button down- something he had lots of in his closet- under a black blazer with golden accents and black pants. He wore a lot of black it seems.

Then Jimin pulled Jungkook to a chair and pushed him onto it with both of his small hands on the Prince's solid shoulders

Then Jimin pulled Jungkook to a chair and pushed him onto it with both of his small hands on the Prince's solid shoulders. He styled his dark brown locks and put a little bit of powder on his face so that it didn't shine so much. And with the finishing touch- a tiny bit of pink tinted lip balm- the young royal was done getting ready.

"How do I look...?"

"Just as handsome as ever." Jimin smiled then the two left the room in silence.

The ride to the Song Kingdom was extra long seeing as you had to go through the Lee Kingdom to get to it. Jungkook nervously played with his jacket the whole way there while his parents sat across from him in the carriage.

"Son."

Jungkook jerked his head up, looking nervously at his father.

"Yes father?"

"What's got you all fiddly boy?"

The Queen was chuckling to herself as she looked out the window, the prince saw that.

"U-Uhm." He cleared his throat. "Just nervous to see all the Kingdom rulers. I hope to set a good impression for all the future ones... though it seems I'm not doing a good job so far." He chuckled.

"Well, it is normal for you to be uneasy. Just... when we get there, try to not be so jumpy."

"Okay father."

When the carriage got to the Song Castle it stopped in front of it and one of the staff opened the door. The Queen thanked them as she got out first, the King then Prince following behind. They all walked up the stone steps, clad in black and golden clothes, and waited. Then the door slowly opened and on the other side was a beautiful girl- around Jungkook's age- dressed in white and blue.

"Hello." She smiled then bowed. "If you would, follow me please, the Lee rulers and Song rulers are waiting."

Jungkook felt his heart drop for a second, before realizing the Kim Kingdom had yet to get here. They'll show up, he knew they would.

"That's the Song Princess." Queen Jeon whispered.

"She really is beautiful, she'd be a good suitor for Jungkook." The King said, looking back at his son with a raised eyebrow.

"Uh y-yeah."

The Song Princess opened the double doors for the Jeon royals and gestured them inside, shutting it behind them. They walked over to the giant wood table that sat in the middle of the large room and took their seats across the Lee royals.

The King and Queen immediately began to converse while Jungkook waited "patiently".  He looked patient on the outside, jaw set firmly and eyes focused on the conversations going around. But on the inside his gut was churning like butter and he was sure there was sweat breaking out on the back of his neck.

Why was he so nervous to see Taehyung? It's not like he hasn't seen him before, heck they even slept together.

More than once.

But he was worried.

What if Taehyung just didn't care about him anymore? Would the red royal still feel the same? Would his feelings grow like Jungkook's did over the time they were apart, or would they dissolve?

What was he going to say before he left?

Jungkook heard his name pop up in conversation and snapped away from his thoughts, wanting to pay attention so he didn't embarrass himself or his parents.

"Yes my son," The King said from the other side of Jungkook's mother. "I think he'd suite your daughter well. And that would grant us connections since your eldest son will be ruling. We could tie two Kingdoms together. Jeon-Song has a nice ring to it don't you think?"

The table laughed, and Jungkook fakely joined, though he thought Jeon-Kim sounded nicer.

And then there was a click, and a subtle bang, and then the door's hinges squeaked as it opened.
