Jimin was the first one to turn around, gripping the bag hung over his shoulder tightly as he suppressed his nerves. But once he caught a glimpse at the person who caught the three mischiefs, he immediately relaxed.
"Chef Seokjin." Jimin said, bowing his head politely. Taehyung and Jungkook, who were standing completely still relaxed as well and turned around too. They bowed.
"Packing up?" He asked, an amused glint in his eyes as he tilted his head. He looked as stunning as always- chocolate eyes shinning, pink hair styled to perfection, skin milky and smooth while his lips were parted to show off his bright, brilliant white smile.
"Yes actually." Jimin replied. Taehyung, being the only who who didn't know Seokjin well, tensed up at the blunt truth that Jimin had just spilled.
"Where you headed off too?"
"Yoongi's for a while. You know what the King is doing, word passes quickly around here."
"Yeah, but won't he check Yoongi's? He knows you're acquainted, when he finds out that you left as well he'll piece it together quickly and head straight to the pianist's home."
"We'll have a few days of grace period don't you think?" Jimin asked, his last remnants of hope fading as Seokjin shook his head firmly, glancing at the two behind Jimin.
"He'll most likely send out search guards tonight."
"Shit." Taehyung cursed loudly.
"But," Seokjin said, all attention snapping back to him. "Since I stay in the staff quarters of the castle my home is completely empty."
"What are you saying?" Jungkook asked.
"Well, for one, it's in the Lee Kingdom, right near the border. He shouldn't search that far."
"We can't ask you to give us your home Seokjin." Taehyung said.
"I'm not giving it to you, I'm just letting you borrow it while things settle down."
"But-"
"Alright." Jimin told Seokjin, reaching forward to shake his hand firmly.
"Good luck boys." He said, bowing- because although they hated being royals, it was still a general sign of respect.
"Thank you so much." Jungkook said, dropping what he was holding as he rushing forward. Seokjin welcomed him with a warm embrace and laid his chin atop Jungkook's head, smiling sweetly as he squeezed the younger.
"Of course. But I expect it to look how I left it." He said, pulling away. "Which means wash the sheets you animals."
Jungkook blushed and scrambled back to his bag while the rest laughed and Seokjin turned on his heel, throwing a casual wave behind him- because they'd see each other again. He knew that.
-
Jungkook never really realized how many ties Jimin had with other people. He somehow managed to get a ride to the Lee Kingdom and find out where the chef lived and once the carriage rolled to a complete stop the butler hopped out, dragging all the bags with him.
"After you." He smiled, tilting his head cutely. Because everything Jimin did was cute.
Jungkook grinned- Taehyung not so much because he hated the royal-like treatment- and walked down the gravel pathway that lead to Seokjin's house. It looked much like the other houses the lot had seen as they rode through the Lee Kingdom. It was small but humble.
The door creaked slightly as they opened it and stepped inside, the smell of dust, flowers, and spices overwhelming.
"Wow." Jungkook breathed, spinning around as he took in every aspect of the house.
