"Wake up!" Jimin yelled, throwing a pillow in between the two entangled bodies. He gasped a little at the quiet whimper that left the younger prince's lips as he snuggled further into the warm blankets. Taehyung however, sat straight up, eyes wide as he stared at the butler.
"Uh... I-I can explain. It's not what it looks-"
"Oh shut up. I already know. Don't ask why or how, just get up. You have to leave in a few hours."
"Right..." Taehyung mumbled, eyes turning dark as he thought about leaving. He scratched the back of his neck as Jimin stormed off into the closet, picking out an outfit for each prince.
"Jungkookie... wake up baby." Taehyung whispered, moving the boy's brown hair aside so his could kiss his forehead.
"No." He huffed.
"You aren't going to say goodbye to me?"
Jungkook instantly sat up, eyes already glistening.
"No... don't leave me yet... please."
"I won't baby, I still have a few hours okay? We can spend it however you want while the maids pack my things."
Jungkook pouted and leaned forward, plopping himself on Taehyung's bare chest.
"Okay this is cute and all, but you have to get dressed and downstairs." Jimin interrupted, blowing his orange locks of of his line of sight as he tossed the once folded close on the two.
Then he left.
"Jimin's right. We can't spend the time in bed."
"Why not..."
"Because I have to go thank the staff and everybody else. And maybe we could go dance together...? I'm sure Yoongi is around here somewhere."
"Okay..." Jungkook sighed, looking up at Taehyung and planting a quick peck on his lips. He also noticed how the older's natural brown roots were showing. Has he really been here that long? It's felt like only a few days.

And just like Taehyung suggested, the two made their way downstairs after getting dressed and Jungkook stood to the side with his hands crossed behind his back as the red royal thanked the staff.
"Thanks for the amazing food." Taehyung said cheerfully as he hugged Seokjin.
"You're welcome Prince Taehyung. I'm glad you enjoyed it."
"I really am going to miss it. Our castle chef isn't nearly as talented and good looking."
The two laughed and Seokjin bowed before leaving, heading back to his daily duties. Then Taehyung met up with Jungkook again and they wandered the castle in silence, searching for the familiar black haired boy. They found him in the piano room, playing with the keys, probably mapping out a song he had in mind.
"Hey Yoongi." Jungkook said as he walked towards the piano.
"Oh, hello Prince Jungkook. Did you want me to play something?"
"If you could, please." Taehyung voiced, grabbing Jungkook by the waist as he pulled him towards the center of the room. The two knew Yoongi wouldn't mind them being "unprofessional" so they pretended he wasn't even there as they danced together quietly.
They just stared into one another's eyes, lost in their own little world before everything started to fall apart.
In this moment, something seemed to pass between the two's eyes. It was as if realization had dawned on them even more, and they realized two things. They were about to say goodbye. For real. They wouldn't eat meals together, they wouldn't take walks around the Jeon garden and sit under the giant maple tree together, they wouldn't be able to hold hands or kiss. Taehyung gulped as he saw Jungkook's eyes tearing up, and in this moment he knew he'd have to bring up the other realization before it was too late. He should have realized sooner- this was a terrible time to bring it up. In reality, he shouldn't at all, because they were leaving each other. But Taehyung knew his regret would eat him from the inside out, and Jungkook wouldn't want that.
