Tomorrow rolled around slowly. The beginning of the morning was spent getting ready for the meeting. Jungkook wanted to look good for him mother, he wanted her to know he was healthy and doing okay out on his own with Taehyung.
So while his fiancé was still asleep, Jungkook carefully shuffled out of his arms, sighing in relief when he didn't do much but stir slightly.
He walked over to where his little bag was leaning against the wall and pulled out some clothes he had put in there, then changed into them. He wobbled into the bathroom and carefully popped his eye contacts back in, then plugged in the straightener and began to do his hair.
When he finished he held a mask to his chin and slipped the strings over his ears, then exited the bathroom.
He didn't want to leave without telling Taehyung goodbye, but he also didn't want him to get all possessive and hold him back for too long. So he woke him up by gently shaking his shoulder then used that half asleep-half awake state to tell him goodbye.
"I'm going to the castle, I'll be back later so don't worry." He whispered, pushing back Taehyung's messy head of hair to kiss his forehead. Taehyung grumbled and yawned. "Go back to bed and I'll be here when you wake up. I love you Taehyungie."
"Mmm you too..." He mumbled, letting his body relax back into the sheets. Jungkook left the room and Jimin was by the door waiting for him with his small hands clasped in front of him. Jungkook thought he looked like a butler, standing exactly how he would during every morning Jungkook spent in the castle.
"Ready to go? A coach is waiting for us." Jungkook nodded and pulled up his mask. They left the house and hopped into the carriage, to quickly be swept away and towards the front gates of Jungkook's home.

The ride was short compared to the other's Jungkook had taken since he was already in the Jeon Kingdom- so he didn't have much time to plan out what he was going to say to his mother.
When he got out of the carriage and looked up at the familiar door of his palace he gulped, a sad, nostalgic feeling making itself present deep in the prince's gut.
"Come on Jungkook, we don't want her to wait." Jimin pat the boy's shoulder encouragingly and they walked up the steps together, pushing the doors open themselves since, well, the Butler wasn't exactly there to do it for them.
It looked exactly the same. The foyer was large and inviting and warm just like he remembered. And he remembered the time he stood near the stairs, facing the direction of the doors as Taehyung walked in for the first time.
"Jungkook." Jimin said, snapping the boy from his thoughts again.
"S-Sorry." Jungkook said, shaking his head. Jimin lead him to the garden though he didn't have to because Jungkook knew his way around the castle better than he knew the back of Taehyung's hand.
