i swiftly unlocked my phone and closed out of my music tab, turning it off, i put it away in my pocket as i focused attention on the boy sitting right beside me.

delaney's p.o.v.

they called up our names to go collect our order after about 9 minutes of waiting.

me, jeongwoo, and haruto and got up out of our seats to get our precioUs food. once we retrieved the food, we returned to the seats to start eating.

the whole table was chatting while i just ate my food quietly, thinking about what i should do about the yeongue situation. i should probably wait a month or two before saying anything to him about it, right? is everything moving too fast? i don't know anymore.

"hey delaney, you good?" i heard the voice beside me ask.

"ah yeah i'm fine." i told yeongue, and took another bite of my food.

"you seemed to be spacing out more, and you're really quiet right now, wanna tell me what's up?" he grabbed my cherry coke and took a sip from it, without my consent.

"u-uh.. its really nothing." i stuttered out slightly blushing.

"well you seemed to be thinking really hard so it doesn't really seem like 'nothing'."

i quickly tried to come up up with and answer to tell yeongue as i stole back my coke from yeongue's hands.

"i was just thinking about how amazing li zihao is. his visuals can't lie, he's a great rapper, singer, and dancer and how funny he is." i mean, where's the lie though?

"mkay if you say so." he went back to eating and i inwardly thanked God that he didn't keep asking questions.

a few minutes later, i was was casually stuffing my face when jeongwoo made a comment.

"pFFT look at delaney's cheeks! she looks like a heckin chipmunk!" he said while pointing at me.

i raised an eyebrow and but on a 'r u serious boi' face. everyone at the table's attention was turned towards me.

pulling my hoodie on over my head, i tightened the strings from embarrassment. i kept chewing to get rid of all the food in my mouth.

once i swallowed it all, i took my hood and made it so the strings weren't tightened anymore.

"delaney eat more! i wanna see!" hannah said with excitement while clapping her hands together.

i shook my head and took a sip of my drink, trying to hide the blush on my cheeks.

"c'mon don't be such a party pooper you rat." junghwan said as he ate a fork full of food.

i shook my head even harder this time, trying not to give into their pleads.

"you have given us no choice. we will use the ultimate weapon now. yeongue. do your worst." haruto said sighing.
