II. THE CONTRACT

Sa parehong araw ng hapon ding iyon pinuntahan ko si Sabrina sa condo nya. Sab is my bestfriend for almost 4 years now. We met each other first day of college and we were in the same department and course. We take up the same curriculum together and now were going to graduate finally.

As I reached her condo unit I immediately rang the doorbell. And there as she opened the door she was still wearing her silk nighties.

"Hi." she greeted me and I stormed in to her condo.

"Goodafternoon sleepyhead." I said and went to her kitchen to put fresh apples that I brought for her. It's her favorite.

"Napuyat ako sa paggawa ng thesis Fey." she said while yawning. Halata ngang napuyat sya.

"Well then, let's have a coffee." I enthusiastically suggest.

Her face lighted up and immediately nod. "Alright, let's go to the nearby coffee shop." And she was in a hurry to have a shower.

Nang makarating kami sa coffee shop agad kaming nag-order at ikinuwento ko sa kanya ang nangyari sa akin later this morning. And how I met Mr. Freaking Hot Sexy CEO.

"Oh my Gosh! You mean the richest bachelor in the country? The super hot model in the magazines and in the billboard?" Sab widened her eyes as I finished what I am saying.

"I don't know. Basta ang alam ko lang he was the CEO and the owner of BLAIRE ENTERPRISES AND TELECOM." I said a-matter-of-factly. Dahil yun lang ang alam ko. At kanina ko lamang iyon nalaman ng sinabi sa akin ng guard doon.

"OMG dapat talaga sinisimulan mo na ang pagbabasa ng mga men's magazine at manuod ka ng TV for pete's sake!" Sab hissed to me. She knew that I don't read magazines or news papers and I am not a-televesion-girl. I'd rather read books of Jane Austen and William Shakespear.

"Alam mo naman hindi ako mahilig sa ganyan." I said to her and have a sip of my coffee.

"Yeah, yeah.. I know. You'd rather looked all day in your book collections than to mind other business and socialites." nawawalan ng pag-asang sambit nya and she gave me a heavy sigh.

I just rolled my eyes. At tsaka nya ako niyaya sa isang shopping center nearby.

Namili sya ng mga bagong dress and night outfits para daw kapag may nagyaya sa kanya ay may maiisuot sya. Sab is a beautiful lady. Magkaparehas kami ng height 5'5 pero mas skinny sya sa akin. Ngunit mas mapusyaw ang balat ko sa kanya dahil palagi syang nagpapa-tan. She gets what she want. She's a rich kid. She was a daughter of a senator and her mother was a lawyer. I met her parents twice only in our four years of friendship. Because her parents were so busy.

Nagpasya si Sab na kumuha ng condo malapit sa school nung nasa second year na kami at para na rin daw magkaron sya ng privacy at matutong magsarili.

"Try this Fey, this will suits you." aniya na ipinakita sa akin ang isang fitted tube black dress na sa tingin ko'y above the knees kung susuotin.

"Hindi ba masyadong revealing yan?" kunot-noong tanong ko.

"No Fey. This was the trend now. Sexy ka dito tignan I swear." sabi nya at pinanlakihan ako ng mata kaya naman wala akong nagawa kundi kunin ito sa pagkakahawak nya. Tinignan ko ang presyo. Oh jeez! It costs two months of my salary in the restaurant were I am having my part time job.

Nakita ni Sab ang reaksyon ko ng makita ang presyo ng dress. "Fey sukatin mo na yan. Bagay sayo yan kaya naman isipin mo na lang na advance gift ko yan sa'yo for your birthday, okay?" Sab insisted. Kaya naman wala na akong nagawa kundi ang pumasok sa isang cubicle at sukatin ang dress na pinili nya.
