His meeting with Principal Morita didn't go that well. She was obviously kind of mad because he had fallen asleep yet again. However, now it wasn't just that.

She had told him that his actions had gone pretty much unpunished (his constant tardies, unexcused absences, all of the times he'd fallen asleep), but that as a result, she needed to do something about it.

So, Peter walked out of school with a pink suspension slip. It read that he would not be returning to school for the next week, and that he'd have to get a parent/guardian to sign it and bring it in the next day.

Peter noticed the black Audi parked a little down the street and headed toward it. He threw his bag in the trunk and slid into the passenger seat, beside Bucky, who started driving.

"Hey, kid!" Bucky said, offering a smile.

"Hi, Uncle Bucky." Peter said glumly. Bucky frowned slightly, thinking about what could have gotten him so down.

"What's wrong?" Bucky asked him, and Peter just stared at his feet instead of answering.

"Was that Flash kid bothering you again?" Bucky asked. Most of the times when Peter didn't greet him with a smile, it was because of Flash's bullying. When Bucky had first heard about it, he looked like he was going to go full Winter Soldier on Flash, but he didn't end up doing anything because Peter insisted that he kept it a secret.

"Well," Peter said. Bucky looked at him expectantly. "With all of my duties as Spiderman, I've racked up a lot of tardies and unexcused absences. And, today I... kinda fell asleep in class because I was out late for patrol last night."

"Okay..." Bucky said. A couple of absences and tardies didn't seem like that big a deal.

"Because of that, I... I'm suspended for a week. And I need Dad to sign it."
