Peter woke up on a chair. His legs were tied together, as with his arms, both bound loosely (loosely for Peter) with a length of rope.
He surveyed his surroundings. 4 cement walls, one with a door embedded into it, and opposite that was a window with metal bars covering it.
Psh. Amateurs.
However, Peter noticed the security camera in the corner, the little ted light showing that it was on and recording it.
Oh well, he would just have to wait until it turned off to escape.

Tony had called the rest of the Avengers in, and they were all sitting around a big table in one of the meeting rooms.
They were all worried sick when they found out that Peter was kidnapped. They trusted him to take care of himself, sure, but kidnappers was a whole different issue.
They obviously couldn't give away the fact that Tony and the rest of the Avengers knew Peter personally, and they couldn't pay the ransom.
They used Google Maps to look at the location. It appeared to be an open plot of land, so Peter obviously wasn't being kept there.
The Avengers used all of the tech and services available to them to look for where they could possibly be holding Peter, and came up with nothing.
By the time night fell, they were no closer to finding out where Peter was than before they started searching.
