Happy Birthday? | Part Three

Everyone in his class was silent and shocked for a couple second, but started shouting questions to him right after.

He didn't even respond to them, and just walked over beside Ned. All of the shouting was causing a rather nasty headache because of his enhanced senses, so he slipped a pair of earbuds into his ears and started playing music on low.

He'd already been on the tour a ton of times, from before he was Spiderman, and - although he'd never admit it to the Avengers - a couple times when he was living in the tower, so he just didn't pay attention throughout the tour.

Peter saw the teacher looking angry and speaking to him, but couldn't hear him because of the music.

He pulled out both earbuds and held them in his hand, and the teacher started up again.

"Mr. Parker!" Ms. Warren, the teacher said angrily. 'Parker-Stark', he thought, longing to correct her.

"This is unacceptable! Hand over your phone and earbuds this instance!" She hissed angrily, trying not to attract attention.

"But miss, I was just-" he started, before Ms. Warren interrupted him.

"No! Give your phone and earbuds to me now or go back to the bus!" She said, putting out a hand.

He took out the earbuds and phone and shoved them roughly into her hand, before walking away from her.

"Is she being unreasonable again?" Ned said from beside him. "Of course." Peter said, an irritated expression on his face.

It was just his luck that his phone started ringing, really loudly. He always set the ringer up to the highest volume so he would hear it when he was engrossed in his work in the lab.

Crap. It was the ringtone he'd set for his dad, Mr. Stark.

Ms. Warren looked at the called ID and saw that it said Tony Stark. "Tony Stark's calling you, Peter. How about I answer the call?" She said, smirking. She was one of the teachers that didn't believe that Peter had the internship, and she was probably taking this opportunity to try and expose him.

"No-" Peter said, and then she clicked the button to answer the call.
