{Adrian's POV}

I sat holding Katherine's hand as she told Stephanie the news. The two were over the moon about it and already talking nursery details. I smiled, thinking about it myself.

I couldn't wait for our little one to be running around our home.

It was crazy at how far Katherine and I have come. It started out rocky but I'm glad we pushed through it. We've overcame things together and strived strongly as a couple. She was my mate and there was nothing I would change about it. I don't think she realizes just how lucky I am to have her. I'm just glad she accepted us...and now look at us...we're having a child together.

The pack already loved her, there was no doubt about it. They are going to be thrilled when they find out she's expecting.

"So have either of you thought about names?" Stephanie asked, pulling me from my thoughts.

"Not really, we've just been basking in the moment." Katherine replied, looking over at me.

"Yeah, I'm sure we'll talk about it soon enough." I added.

"Oh I've been waiting for this moment since you all started trying so I have plenty of names ready." She stated causing me and Katherine to burst out laughing.

"Goddess, Steph, you're always ten steps ahead." Katherine mumbled, her cheeks red.

I guess she didn't want me knowing she told her about us trying. I didn't mind. It was cute she was so excited about it.

"Lay them on me." I said and Stephanie grinned, rubbing her hands together eagerly.

"Okay so if it's a boy I was thinking Aidan, so we can keep the A's in the family. But if it's a girl, I was thinking Kamryn."

"I actually like those." I admitted and Stephanie squealed.

"Really?! What about you, Katherine?"

"I like them too! I'd like to keep A's and K's in the family too. You know me so well." She grinned.

"Wait are you saying you're gonna use them?!" I looked to Katherine who shrugged.

"I mean, I like them." she gave me a look of seeking approval and I nodded in agreement.

"I agree, plus, saves us time for looking for names and Katherine bickering with me for hours." I joked and she playfully smacked me on the shoulder.

"That's not true." She grumbled, folding her arms and I threw my arm around her shoulder, pulling her to me.

"I'm just messing with you." I teased, placing a kiss on the side of her head.

"Oh my goddess, I just love you two." Stephanie spoke with a sappy tone.

An idea came into mind as I looked at Stephanie. She meant a lot to our family. She's done so much for me as well and I don't think I've ever shown her just how important she is to us.

"What about Kamryn Stephanie Lee for a girl?" I suggested and her eyes widened.

"Shut up. Don't play with me, Adrian." I chuckled.

"Im serious."

"I freaking love it." Katherine stated with a million dollar smile.

"W-wait really?"

"Yes, Stephanie, you mean so much to us and I know you're gonna mean a lot to our child as well. I don't think I've ever showed you how much I appreciate all that you have done for me these past few years."

"You did through pay checks." she croaked out, tears in her eyes and I lost it in laughter again.

"Awe! Group hug!" Katherine stated and we all leaned in close together in a big bear hug.

"I love y'all!" Stephanie sobbed and me and Katherine laughed.

"We love you too, Steph."

After we left Stephanie's we headed back to our house and decided to cook some dinner.

"That was nice of you...what you did with Steph."

"I meant every word of it. I mean think about it...she helped watch my godchild when I had work and never asked questions...she just did it. She took care of Ivy like one of her own and that means the world to me. Not to mention I wouldn't have met you if it wasn't for her, so I think she deserves some credit." I winked, putting some garlic bread in the oven.

"Do you think we'll have a girl or boy?" she asked as she stirred the sauce she was making.

"I don't know, but I'm going to love them just the same."

"I love you, Adrian." she smiled up at me.

"I love you too, baby girl. Now, don't burn our sauce." I teased.

"Aye aye, captain!" I laughed, shaking my head and grabbed some plates to set the table.

"Daddy!" Ivy's squeal broke through the air as she ran into the kitchen.

"Hey, sweet girl! How was your day with Clark?" I asked, picking her up and placing her on my hip.

"It was good! We got ice cream!"

"Oh did you?" I looked to Clark standing in the doorway who was grinning at her.

"We did! Then we went to the park!"

"Oh, how exciting." Katherine piped in and walked over placing a kiss on her forehead as Ivy giggled.

I loved the sight of her being a mother figure to Ivy and it made me even more excited for our child we will soon have.

"Thank you for watching her, Clark."

"It's no problem, I'll see you tomorrow."

"Are you hungry?" I asked Ivy.

"Staving!"

"Starving." Katherine corrected with a laugh. I think she said it just because she likes hearing Ivy repeat it.

"Staving!" she repeated just as I expected and I threw my head back in laughter.

"Can you say spaghetti?" Katherine asked with a knowing smirk.

I chuckled at the two.

Goddess, I love this woman.
