jack got home, slamming the door behind him. he was pissed off.

"okay jack! calm down buddy. you might be supernatural but our house isn't so relax." jack's mom walked into the living room. "what's got your panties in a twist?"

"this kid at school pisses me off. he hates me for no reason." jack groaned and flopped onto the couch. "i literally didn't even talk to him and he hated me."

"is that the same boy you got into a fight with?" she asked with a raised eyebrow. "you know you can't fight normal people jack. you could seriously hurt someone."

"i know but he seemed pretty strong. he punched me in the face and broke my jaw." jack exclaimed as he sat up. "it was crazy. it was almost as if he was stronger than me."

"that's impossible jack. unless he's one of us. there is another pack here and they're all teenagers except their alpha." his mom explained as she walked back into the kitchen. "i made cupcakes by the way."

"oo yeah can i have one?" jack stood up and sped into the kitchen after his mom.

"yeah just don't eat a lot. you'll make yourself sick." she chuckled and handed the boy a small plate. she finished loading the dishwasher before going outside.

jack grabbed three of the strawberry cupcakes and went to his room. he sat at his desk and watched netflix while he ate.

he did his homework before dinner. after dinner he showered and then laid in bed. he scrolled through his phone before setting an alarm and going to sleep.

he already hated this school year.

zach got to school and looked for his friends again. except he didn't like what he was seeing this time. of course he saw sadie and daniel but he also saw jack with them.

sadie caught zach's glance and waved him over. zach rolled his eyes and walked over. he stood there and looked at his friend. sadie smiled at him.

"he's not that bad. i think you guys should try and work out your differences." she looked between them.

zach furrowed his eyebrows. "absolutely not. he broke my nose."

sadie rolled her eyes knowing that it was already fine and healed. "okay and your point? i think he's nice."

"yeah you do. what about you daniel? what do you think about him?" zach turned to the boy.

"i mean i'm not his biggest fan but i mean-"

"stop right there. you said enough." zach smiled a little and looked at jack who was glaring at him. "sorry but if both of my friends aren't one hundred percent completely sold then it's not going to work for me."

zach backed away and started walking to his class. he sat down in his spot next to some kid named corbyn. he was also new. he was apparently homeschooled before. zach also didn't like the vibe he got from him.

zach closed his eyes and leaned back in his chair. he was annoyed. he didn't know why he had this nagging irritation in his chest all of a sudden. it just wouldn't go away. even when he was at home he felt it in his chest.

jack walked in and took a seat across from zach and next to some girl that zach didn't know the name of.

zach clenched his jaw turning to look at jack who had a smug look on his face. zach wouldn't let him have the satisfaction though so he just smirked and winked at jack.
