at school zach was paranoid. he was scared that anyone would do something to him or jack. he also didn't like the new attention that his newly announced relationship was getting.

jack was waiting at his locker for him. zach smiled and walked over to him. "hey."

jack looked up from his phone and smiled at him. "hey."

jack pulled zach in for a hug, ignoring the stares he got. zach leaned into jack and let out a sigh. jack kissed the top of zach's head. "you okay?"

"yeah just scared." zach closed his eyes.

"you don't need to be scared. i've got you." jack ran his hand up and down zach's back. "no one is going to hurt you."

zach nodded before pulling away and looking up at jack. "i love you. you know that right?"

jack smiled. "i love you too hotshot."

zach leaned up and pecked jack's lips. "where are the others?"

"they're over there." jack nodded his head to where his four friends were.

"wait are they?" zach looked at corbyn and annie who were holding hands.

"yeah." jack smiled.

"good for them." zach held his hand out and jack grabbed it, lacing their fingers together. they walked over to their friends.

"the two of you okay?" daniel looked over at them. "jonah told me what happened."

zach nodded with a small blush covering his cheeks. "how much did he tell you?"

"just enough." daniel smirked and looked the couple up and down.

zach gently shoved the boys shoulder. "shut up."

"hey guys."

zach turned around confusedly when he heard the girls voice. "molly?"

the dark skinned girl smiled at him. "hey boo."

"what the hell are you doing here?" zach pulled her into a hug.

"in oregon i was turned and now i'm here. i didn't come back because i thought you were dead since you went missing but really you just went into hiding. good thing vampire gossip travels fast. i also met your best friend on tinder so that worked out." molly shrugged and gestures to sadie who was blushing. molly just grinned and wrapped her arm around sadie's shoulders.

everyone's eyebrows raised in shock. zach cleared his throat. "so let me get this straight. you not only like girls but you're going out with my ex girlfriend?"

sadie nodded. "we were long distance but now she's here."

"i guess we're even then." zach shrugged before letting out a noise of surprise when jack wrapped his arms around his waist from behind and pulled him flush against his body. jack buried his head into zach's neck. zach smiled and set his hands over jack's.

the bell rang and everyone parted ways. at the end of the day zach met up with jack outside.

"i'll meet you at the treehouse in a bit okay? i need to check in with my parents. they have something to give me." jack grabbed zach's hands and gave the a light squeeze.

zach nodded. "okay. i love you."

"i love you too." jack pecked zach's lips before putting his helmet on and riding off on his motorcycle. zach got in his car and drove home. he put his stuff away before leaving again. he drove and parked in the wolves driveway. jack said it was okay. zach saw jack's bike in the driveway before he ran off and into the woods. he reached the treehouse and jumped up. he unlocked the door and went in. he closed the curran's before he sat on the bed and pulled his phone out of his pocket. he watched some netflix while he waited.
