a whole week had gone by and sadie still hadn't talked to zach.

now zach was sat at jack's hockey game by himself. daniel was going to go but he was out with jonah on their second date.

zach knew absolutely nothing about the sport that jack played. he had been to a few games but that was with sadie before that all went to shit.

zach sat there watching jack skate around. jack was a forward, zach knew that much but only because jack told him.

when it was time for a switchover jack got off the ice and pulled his helmet off and his mouth guard out. he pouted water into his mouth as he looked around the student section. the theme was purple out for their school colors so zach wasn't hard to spot with the black t-shirt he wore even if it was cold in the arena. jack smiled at him and sent him a wink. zach rolled his eyes as he held back a smile. zach watched jack sit on the bench as other players took the ice.

then zach got bored since jack wasn't playing so he went on his phone for a bit.

when the game was over zach stayed and waited. jack's family was there as usual. they went to every game no matter where it was or when it was.

they were supposed to hang out tonight but it was late so zach figured that it wasn't going to happen. he waited anyway though. people cleared out pretty quickly since they wanted to get out of the cold and get home.

soon it was just zach and the younger boys family but zach kept his distance. he knew that they didn't really like him all that much. zach sat on the bench and played with the hole in his jeans.

"nice job out there bud." jack's dad patted the boy on the shoulder. jack smiled and thanked him. he hugged his mom and his youngest sister who zach still didn't know and then ava. jack bro hugged corbyn and two other of their pack members that were there.

jack looked around until his eyes landed on zach who was sitting there. he grinned before looking at his family. "i'll be right back."

they nodded and watched him walk over to his boyfriend. zach looked up as jack approached him, a smile making its way to his lips. "hey. nice job out there."

"thank you. thanks for coming." jack smiled as his eyes roamed zach's face. jack looked around before leading zach away from the group and behind the stands. he pulled zach in for a hug. "i love you."

zach smiled as he hugged back and laid his head on jack's shoulder. "i love you too. do you want to go to the treehouse tomorrow?"

"yeah. text me okay? i'll meet you there." jack kept his hands on zach's waist.

zach set his hands on jack's cheeks and leaned in. he pressed their lips together gently. zach slowly deepened the kiss and slipped his tongue into jack's mouth. jack pulled zach closer and slipped his hands under zach's shirt. zach shuddered from jack's warm hands on his cool skin. zach pulled away, pulling jack's bottom lip between his teeth. jack was panting and pushed zach against the wall.

jack connected their lips again in a hungry kiss. jack gripped zach's hips tightly making zach let out a soft moan. zach arched into jack rubbing their hips together as jack gently sucked on his neck. jack let out a quiet groan as his pants tightened. zach pulled away from jack and let out a content sigh.
