"jack are you ready?" zach leaned on the front door and looked down the hallway. he could hear jack rustling about upstairs.

"i'm coming!" jack called out before a thud was heard and jack groaned out in pain. "baby i just dislocated my elbow!"

"come down and i'll put it back but we're going to be late!" zach jangled the keys.

jack came running down the stairs with a pout on his face. he was cradling his arm.

"come here bubba." zach waved him over and put his arm back in place. "now let's go. i can't be late to sadie's graduation."

"yeah i know." jack followed zach out of the house and they both got into the car. zach started the car and he pulled out of the driveway.

they got to the school and quickly went in. they showed their tickets and found a seat next to sadie's family and the rest of their friends.

zach just patiently waited and smiled when jack grabbed his hand.

sadie screeched and ran over to her friends who all graduated the year before her. she pulled them into a group hug.

"proud of you sade." zach smiled and held her right.

"thanks zachy." she kissed his cheek before pulling away and hugging her girlfriend.

they all talked before heading out to dinner together even if half of them didn't need to eat.

they just chatted and caught up since corbyn and daniel both went off to college. annie was studying abroad. jack went to their local community college and zach isn't going because he already graduated. he is thinking about going back to work though. he missed being a doctor.

after dinner they all went back to zach's new house. one that was off limits to vampires except the ones that were his friends. jack didn't live with him but he stayed over almost every night.

no one had bothered the group in awhile. they had one altercation but nothing that harmed anyone's life. they were grateful. the werewolves and vampires were slowly but surly learning to get along.

all in all though everyone was happy and doing something that they loved.

zach looked into the living room to where all his friends sat playing some game. jack wrapped his arms around zach from and pulled him close. zach smiled and leaned into jack.

"what're you thinking about?" jack set his head on zach's shoulder.

"just everything. them. us." zach turned around in jack's arms and leaned in to kiss him. zach set one hand on the side of jack's face as their lips slowly moved against one another's. "do you wanna move in with me?"

jack's eyes widened in surprise and his heart started racing. he slowly started nodding his head. "i would love to."

zach quickly pressed their lips together again. "i love you."

"i love you too hotshot."

they shared one more tender kiss before they went back into the living room and sat with their friends.

"jo stop." daniel let out a giggle as jonah gently tickled his sides. daniel pushed jonah back gently but jonah just rolled his eyes and placed his lips on the younger boys. daniel was the only one that was allowed to call jonah by a nickname.

"ew gross. please don't do that in my house." zach grimaced before a small smiled played on his lips.

"oh shut up. you're acting as if you and jack didn't just make out in the kitchen for five minutes." daniel rolled his eyes and looked at his best friend.

"that's because it's our house. we can do what we want in it." zach rolled his eyes before he realized what he said.

"'our'? so that means he's moving in with you?" corbyn sat up and looked at the two boy.

the couple looked at each other before smiling.

"surprise."
