"zach get the fuck out of bed and let's go."

zach groaned as he was easily pulled out of bed and onto the floor. "dani it is saturday. go away."

"we don't even need to sleep. get your ass out of bed before sadie beats your ass for being late." daniel smacked zach in the face.

zach gasped and shot awake. "oh my god the field trip."

"yeah now let's go before she throws a fit." daniel left the room as zach was hurrying around trying to get ready and pack his stuff. luckily his supernatural speed allowed him to get ready in about five minutes.

zach wasn't fully in sadie's car before she started driving. "oh my gosh slow down!"

"maybe you should remember things." sadie rolled her eyes as she sped down the road.

when they pulled into the driveway zach got out of the car as quick as he possibly could. zach grabbed his backpack and flipped her off. "you're insane."

"says you."

"hey."

zach whipped around to see jack. jack had to hold back a smile as he looked at zach. zach tensed up and crossed his arms over his chest. "what do you want?"

"just saying hi to my roomie." jack smirked at zach.

zach's eyes widened before he collected himself. "you're kidding."

"nope. both of us didn't have a partner. looks like someone forgot to check that box on the permission slip." jack kept that smirk of his face and zach had to hold himself back from attacking the boy with his lips.

zach bit his lip and looked at the ground. "i thought i picked daniel."

"guess not." jack shrugged. he looked at daniel who just looked away.

"i guess i forgot too." daniel shrugged. "i'm with corbyn."

zach looked at daniel who wouldn't meet his eyes. "gosh dammit."

"sorry zay." daniel ruffled zach's hair and kissed his cheek. "i'm sure you'll have a fun time with wolfy boy in the small cabin."

zach groaned and shoved daniel away. "leave me alone."

daniel looked at zach and winked at him. daniel pulled him close and whispered in his ear. "don't have too much fun though."

zach's eyes widened as he felt his cheeks heat up. zach pushed daniel away from him. "fuck you."

"sorry i don't think he would like that." daniel held his hands up in defense as zach glared at him. "sorry i've got a romance of my own. i'm not dtf."

"daniel you're literally the worst." zach groaned and turned to sadie. "who're you with?"

"some girl named annie." sadie shrugged and looked around. "i think she's a junior."

zach nodded before they were all instructed to get on the buses.

"and sit with your partners!"

zach groaned and uneasily sat in the window seat. jack plopped down next to him and grinned. zach held back a smile and shoved his shoulder. "stop that."
