Author's Note: The next few chapters are written kinda weird with a black backing, so it's nothing special, I'm just letting y'all know. :-)
After I dropped off Michael in the city, Bri texted me and told me that I needed to come over. I pulled up in the Flukemobile, she was waiting for me on the front steps. I got out and brought my backpack with me, which had my costume in it.
She ran up to me, “Hi Hun,” She smiled and kissed me. “I like your car.”
"Thanks I did it myself. So, what’s up?" I asked.
"I was thinking of maybe doing some studying," She winked at me.
"Oh, but I didn’t bring my books…" I said.
She looked at me like she wanted me to make a connection, and then I did.
"Is there anyone else home?" I asked.
"No," She smiled and then grabbed my hand and pulled me inside. "C’mon."
She brought me to her room at the far end of the house. I dropped my backpack on the floor by my feet.
She kissed me for a few minutes, she was remarkable at it. I pressed her up against the wall, kissing her and getting into it. All of a sudden, a loud crash came from out in the living room.
"What was that?" She said quietly, I could feel all of muscles freeze in her body.
I took a few steps back. “Don’t go anywhere,” I said slowly going towards the door. “Stay here.”
She nodded and I slowly walked down the hall.
There was a man in a long, dark coat putting the electronics in the living room into a large bag. I looked behind me to make sure Brianna was still in her room.
I walked until I was behind the man. Then he noticed me and turned around quickly, whipping out a gun and pointing it at my head.
"Luke!" Bri screamed fromt he hallway.
I had no way to protect the two of us other than using my powers. I punched the gun out of his hand and then used the laser from my hand to knock him out and tie him up.
Bri stood in the hallway looking awestruck.
"Please don’t be afraid," I said.
"You’re one of the superheroes!" She smiled from ear to ear.
"Bri, you can’t tell anyone." I rushed over to her.
"I know, it’s just really cool." She said. "And I won’t tell."
"Call the police," I went and got my things from her room, "And tell them that 5 Seconds of Summer was here." I started going towards the door.
"Who’s 5 Seconds of Summer?"
"My team."
