I woke up to a cold wind whistling. I couldn’t move my arms or legs. The set off an absolute panic alarm in my brain, so my eyes shot open.
I was in what seemed to be the control room for the ‘Death Drop’, which was located at the very top of the ride. Michael, Calum, and Luke were tied up beside me, but I was the only one awake. But how had I got there?
Well, I had went to go pick up Elle at her home, when her sister had told me that she was already down at the street fair with one of my friends and that she’d wanted to meet at the ‘Death Drop’. I had waited near the base of the ride until I had gone unconscious somehow.
And now, there I was.
We were all in our costumes now, which was weird because he hadn’t been in them before.
Using my super strength, I broke out of the ropes, and then woke up the guys and started to untie them.
"What happened?" Luke asked.
"We got knocked out." I replied. We all got out of the ropes and then Calum tried to open the door.
"It’s locked," He said.
"And it’s going to stay that way," A familiar voice added, and there was Chris. He stood in front of the door, which was made of metal gating.
"Chris?" Luke looked shocked. "What are you doing?"
"Well," Chris shrugged. "You stole my girlfriend. So, with my new poets, I’m going to make you, your friends, and all of my enemies sorry.”
"Is that all we’ve done to you? All this because of rbi?" Luke asked.
"Well, none of you have ever been my biggest fan, and I just love watching you suffer. I always have.” He cackled like a villain from a movie.
"Where are the girls?" Michael yelled. "I need to know that they’re okay!"
"In just one hour, the’ll be just the like you and the rest of this town, blown to smithereens by my atomic bomb!” And then he stood and jumped of the platform, flying away. We never got flight! How was he pulling that one off? “Good luck, losers!” He called out as he disappeared into the large warehouse below.
"Smash, get the door." Calum said. "We can’t afford to waste any time."
I tore off the door and set it to the side, then we scaled down the ladder of the ride and started towards the warehouse.
