The morning sun came quicker than you wanted, not even three hours into your full sleep. The slowly brightening light shone through the frames and in your face, your signal to rise. You groan squint your eyes, barely opening them, and yawn. You then sit up and stretch, trying to wake yourself up more. Which was a mistake, because the instant you left your blanket, the cold hit you like a sword to the gut. You shiver and quickly dive back under your blanket, burying yourself back in the bed. "Freaking freezing--!!" You yell to yourself.

"So you're awake now?"

You slightly peek out from the blanket again and look over toward the source of the voice, seeing Revali by the doorway. He was holding folded clothes that weren't yours, with Medli standing beside him.

"Morning, (Y/n)!" Medli said in a happy tone, waving to you with a bright smile on her beak.

"Oh. Morning Medli, Revali...!" You say while sitting up, gripping the blanket while making sure it didn’t fall from your shoulders.

"I take it you slept alright?" Revali asks, going over to you.

You nod slightly, following his movement with your gaze. "Yeah, I did. Much better then I would out on the grass, anyway...!"

Medli giggles at that as Revali stops beside your bed. He places the folded clothes next to your feet, turning to face you. "Here," he says. "Your tunic and arsenal aren't quite ready to be taken out yet. And as you've clearly noticed, it's freezing up here. So wear these for the time being. They will help to regulate your needs."

You glance down at the clothes, then at Revali again. "Sure," you say. "But where would I change? This room literally has open windows all along the walls, and I don't like people seeing me... you know..."

"Don't worry about it," Revali says, holding his hands up assuringly. "The locals won't look. They know how to respect privacy."

You nod slightly again, picking up the clothes. Revali then turns and heads out of the room, Medli close behind.

After confirming no one was watching, you quickly change into your temporary clothes. They consisted of a thick, brown long-sleeved shirt with a white fur fold over on the shoulders and cuffs of the arms, tan insulated pants, and ankle-high hiking boots. They were decorated with three sashes in various colors. You then decide to follow this town's customs and put your hair in a ponytail, holding it with a big (f/c) bead and tying a few ribbons with it. You then step out into the village and look around.

The village itself was on a fairly thin mountain. Wood railings along the wooden stair walkways to prevent non-Rito people from falling. Along these walkways, about every fifteen feet was a store or home of some sort. An inn, a clothes store, a very small market, and a new set of stairs leading to the next level. From where you currently stood, you could see some sort of launch pad or a lookout point at the top of the mountain peak, above all other buildings. Defiantly for those who want to take off easily. Older Rito were either walking or flying around the village, going about their daily lives, while younger ones ran around the area. They didn't seem to mind you being there, and some even turned to watch as you passed by. You decide to climb up the steps and go onto the launch pad, to get a better view of the area.

The launch pad itself was a long, wooden floor attached to the side of the mountain. Railings along the sides and the front left open. The bottom of it was accented with a light grey, beaded carpet. You walk to the edge of the pad and look out to see what you could see. The snow-capped mountains shimmered in the sun, like beneath the snow was lightly dusted gemstones just waiting to be found. A light breeze blew by as you looked out to the mountains, chilling your face only slightly. Beautiful...
