You follow Urbosa through the valley and back to the throne room, where you once again see the Thunder Helm in all its glory. It shone lightly as the now setting sun brushed against the jewel encrusted gold. Nabooru stood beside it with a thin scimitar strapped to her waist. “Sav’saaba,” She greeted to you.
You glance over at Urbosa for a translation.
“She is saying ‘good evening’,” She said, understanding your confusion.
You nod while mouthing ‘oh’, then looked at Nabooru. “Sav’saaba,” You said.
Nabooru gave a small smile at your response and drew her sword. “Thank you for accepting this task, (Y/n),” She said. “We are very thankful for this.”
“It's no trouble, Nabooru,” You say. “Compared to everything else that I’ve been through, this one will be a piece of cake.”
Nabooru and nodded, going over and standing beside Urbosa. She then looked at you again. “My sister and I are going on a quick patrol of the area before we go to bed. A Gerudo guard from outside will relieve you near midnight. If anything happens, don’t hesitate to let us know, okay?”
You nod in understanding, doing a quick salute. “Yes, ma’am!” You said.
She nods and turns to walk out. Urbosa looks as she leaves, then turns to you again. “Be careful, (Y/n). We wish you nothing but luck.” She then follows her sister out.
You watch as they leave, then make your way to the helm when they were out of sight. It's beauty was simply breathtaking. You never would have been able to imagine something like this, resting in the harshness of a desert. It was beaten slightly, little dents along it's exterior and the ring planted behind it was bent ever so slightly. Nonetheless, it stayed wondrous all the same. The gems like little mirrors as they created a perfect reflection. The gold of the helm was finely polished, as if whoever watched over didn’t care about it's wounds. It looked so elegant, and yet, so intrepid. You gave a soft smile, then turn your back to it, looking out for any types of threats that could come.
The sun soon set, and the gold of the deserts faded to a pale bluish white. There were, thankfully, torches lit up in the room, so you could still see. You look around, starting to grow a little restless. So you decided to pass the pass the time. In a small pouch you had snuck in with you, you carefully pulled out the last two letters that were sent to you; the ones from Impa and the Zora Royal Family. You lift up the Zora letter first, carefully opening the envelope before pulling out the paper inside. You unfold it and began to read.
‘Dear (Y/n),
In honor of the entire Zora tribe, we thank you once again for your help. We have not had such a brave soul come before us in quite some time. Our people now feel safer, knowing we were visited by such a spirited youth. We cannot thank you enough for your efforts. Our tribe wishes you great fortune in your journey.
And now, I myself have something to say. (Y/n), you are truly a blessing to us. We couldn’t have been more lucky than to have you come into our kingdom. As if we were blessed by the Goddess herself, you had come to save us. You saved my dear sister from an undoubtedly horrid fate. If not for you, we… I. don’t know what we would have done.
Have I mentioned how brave and beautiful you are? And how thankful I am?
Well, you are! And I am!
ZO! ZO! RA RA RA! Thank you!
But in all seriousness. I wish you the best of luck, (Y/n). I know that you will be dealing with a deadly fate, and hardships will come to stop you. If you ever feel that you need to take a break, or you just seem like you cannot continue, then come and visit us. Our-- … My, fins are open to you. You always have a place to come to.
