beautifies the table
giving away a sweet scent
everyone comments on
how pretty it is
a blossoming relationship
beautifies her life
giving her hope for the first time in a while
everyone tells them
how they were meant to be
(he gives her a rose
and tells her how special she is
she kept the rose in a vase
and put it on her table)
a rose in a vase
begins to wilt
the petals dry up
and drop off the plant
it ends up in the trash
a blossoming relationship
begins to break
the trust is gone
when she saw him kissing another woman
the relationship ends up in the trash
(the rose he gave her
is now in the bin
just like how the girl
is now down in the dumps)
