Chapter 18 - Chaos' Warm Welcome

Just as I promise. Here's chapter 18!!!

A face-off occurred between Perseus and CFW Magic in Gamindustri Graveyard when he heard about Nepgear and the others will come here due to the sudden eruption. Upon arriving, he saw everyone got wiped out by Magic herself. Magic was barely using her power to test out Perseus' skills. Beyond her expectations, she compliments and warns Perseus of the arrival of the Deity of Sin before fleeing.

A few days later, on the way back to Planeptowerfrom Virtua Forest. Guards were marching up and Perseus was informed a war will break out in Planeptune. There are no further details on why ASIC will seek war on Planeptune Without Neptune and Nepgear to assist him since they are in Leanbox which is already being attacked. He never expected that ASIC will declare war on both Planeptune and Leanbox. He marches with the guards to prepare for war. With his current strength, he must prevail in the war, in the stead of the CPUs of Planeptune

Shit. This is really getting tiring. The whole place is a wreck. There are bloodstains around the area. All of the guards are wiped out. They are either dead or unconscious. But ASIC is also low on numbers too, so I can pretty much take them down and make a mess here with the people evacuated and no one else to see me using my left arm.

Removing my sling and glove and I put them in my jacket's pocket, revealing my cursed arm, I ready myself for the next wave of enemies. Most monsters are eliminated and all that's left are the ASIC goons.

ASIC Leader: FOR THE GLORY OF ARFOIRE!

And all of them charges in, while here I am standing in the middle, who will fight them alone. If only Reyna and the others are here. But I have no time to think about them. I will prevail in this war. I cannot let them take over this nation, I will be a failure as a knight and will be a failure to Reyna if that happens.

I take up my sword and I rush towards them. Grabbing an ASIC soldier with my spectral arm, I throw him to another soldier and knocking them down on to the ground and I rush towards to another soldier and I stab him in the stomach like a skewer and I swing my sword along with him and hitting every other soldier that is coming in my way and they fly across a building and crashing in to it. As the soldier is struggling to get up, I finish him off by stabbing him in the body leaving the leader, the only one left standing.

Perseus: For the glory of Arfoire. How sad. 

ASIC: I-I-I WILL KILL YOU!!

As he holds on to the hilt of his sword, he charges in my direction and I ready my arm and as he gets close, I uppercut him with my left hand and I grab him by the legs, smashing him on the ground as his head is crushed on to the ground and as blood splatters.

Persues: For the glory in my ass. This world is doomed if Arfoire awakens. I honestly don't know the purpose of waking her up from her deep sleep if Gamindustri is going to be destroyed anyway.

I scan the area and it looks like that's all of them. I do feel sorry for my fallen comrade, but they gave up their life for this nation and I have managed to kill those remaining ASIC and their deaths are not in vain. We have prevented ASIC from taking over this Nation. But the question is, why did they suddenly declare war on us? Without the CPUs 3 years ago, they could've just ambushed us and get over with it, but no, they had to wait until the CPUs return. 

Why do I have a feeling that this war is just a diversion? No, or rather in Leanbox was just a diversion. ASIC must have some goals. And suddenly, loud noise can be heard from behind, and it's coming from Planeptower. An image of Arryn pops up in my head and I hurriedly run back towards the Basilicom. If my intuition is correct, they have a goal that is coming from Planeptower itself.
