Epilogue

After clearing the remaining monsters that surrounded us after finishing off Arfoire and all of us returned home. That's pretty much it.

After we arrive back to Planeptower, Histoire insists that I should go back as being a knight, for finishing off Arfoire, she wants to go back to my daily life.

But I turned down her offer, but that's not the only thing. In general, I cut ties with my connection with the CPUs. Having me around is not beneficial, I may be a monster but I'm still human in heart. I have accepted for who I am but I want to remain human as much as possible.

The next day

As driving throughout Planeptune, uncertain on what I am going to do next, probably just do more quests from the guild....... but.....

Perseus: Can you please remind me why are you with me Nepgear?

While my hands are still clutching on to the steering wheel, I glance at Nepgear with a puzzled face and her lips form into an innocent smile.

Nepgear: Goodness, why not? You can't just leave after saying you love me.

She clings on to my arm as my hands are still on steady on the steering wheel. I can't afford to have an accident right here.

Perseus: It's not that......and....Arryn, I thought you're going to stay back at the basilicom.

Arryn: I did.....but.....I decided to go with you.

I let out a sigh as traffic hits. Today is such a busy day, with the heavy traffic and having no plans on where to go.

Nepgear: Say.....Perseus....

Nepgear let go of my arm as she calls out my name.

Perseus: I'm all ears.

Nepgear: Why did you suddenly want to cut ties with us?

As the question ponders through my head, I didn't have a clear reason for it. I just suddenly said that I'm going to up and leave them.

Perseus: With a monster like me, the son of Arfoire is present in the Basilicom, I'm sure the Public opinion will change drastically. Besides, I want to start something fresh, just gonna leave the past.

And suddenly, Nepgear lies her head on to my shoulder with a frown on her face.

Nepgear: I just want to be with you.

Perseus: I also want to be with you too. If people find out that we're together.....I'm sure they ain't gonna like it.

Nepgear: I know. You do have a fair point.

As soon as traffic clears up, I continue driving. This has turned into some sort of random road trip if I must say, but it is relaxing.

Nepgear: Hey Perseus.

Nepgear calls out to me again, waiting for me to give my attention to her for her to ask me something.

Perseus: What is it?
