Hi y'all.
Again, sorry for the two weeks and two days late update. Again, been super busy and kinda didn't know what to do for this chapter. I have legit the next 5 chapters all planned out but I needed to figure out something for this chapter.
I apologize for the kinda crappy writing, but I wanted to make an extra long chapter for you guys. I wrote most of this chapter in the past 2 hours after a mini-panic attack about SATs (XD) we're fine though, my parents just didn't realize all my friends had tutors and did long practices and I'm just passivly learning on my own.
So, decided not to study but write. Do something that makes you feel alive, not something that leaves you emotionless.
OKAY:
PLEASE READ. This chapter is all over the place. So here's the structure:
There are two parts, one a quick scene from Alex's POV.
The rest of the chapter will be from Levi but it'll cover 3:00 am all the way to 9:50 pm so there will be a bunch of clearly labeled skips.
Part 1: A text dialogue between Cooper and Alex told pathetically in Alex's POV (sorry for the sucky writing.)
So, some people are forgetting who Cooper and Alex are.
Cooper is Levi's friend from the hospital who is at group with him and saw the previous chapter go down.
Alex (formally called Jeremy but changed to Alex in like in February) is the running back on the team who is super nice, for example, he's the one who tries to help Emery in chapter 28: Bloody Innocence and tells the others to stop picking on Levi in chapter 19: Very Big Night.
And..I've also been subtly dropping clues that Alex is gay (and Cooper is openly gay.)
So, Alex and Cooper are dating (which isn't clearly stated) so just letting you guys know
PART 1: Alex's POV
1:31 am
Hearing the ding, I smiled. It was the robot sound, I assigned it specifically for him.
I picked up my phone, I knew exactly who it was.
Cooper: Hey
I sat up straight, putting down the textbook.
Alex: Hey babe.
It was my new boyfriend, except for the fact no one will ever know because of destructive circumstances.
We've only met once or twice in person but we have been talking online for months. He's really cute, has a clean afro and the goofiest dimples.
We met on some gay dating app a while ago but really hit it off.
We know a lot about each other. I know a lot of real things about him, but I try to disguise the people and things in my life. I trust him, but the world will end if my extremely catholic family finds their son is dating a black atheist boy.
The bubble popped up and then down. Why wasn't he sending emojis and hearts?
Something was wrong.
The phone dinged:
Cooper: Do you know this guy, his name is Levi Cerlton?"
I froze. Wait, how did he know where I went to high school? Crap, did I let it slip? Did he say something? God, did he ruin our promise? I told him if he ever met anyone from my school or my life he should never mention I'm gay, or better yet, that he knows me.
