Hi everyone!
So, this is a question/rant suggestive thing for the ending of the book. I pretty much BOLDED what are the options to make it easier for you
Happy Holidays. So, those who are all caught up with the book know the last chapter was them saying goodbye. A while ago, I had an idea of having a different spin-off from Dina and Alex's POV, but it will do a lot of crossover with Emery and Levi (meaning, they will show up a lot.) The problem is I don't think I'll have enough ideas/passion to develop a whole other story and ideas for an entirely new plot for Dina and Alex.
I have some good chapter ideas for when Dina and Alex's story where they will meet up with our original two which will serve a bit like an epilogue.
But I can't do that if I can't motivate myself to write a whole story about Dina and Alex to include those specific chapters.
In terms of not doing the Alex/Dina things, I will have to figure out some type of epilogue other than the last chapter and I honestly don't know what to do.
I've been struggling with how to end this book
Some people have suggested I romanticize mental illness, which is in no way my intention. In fact, I've taken special steps to separate their relationship is not built on their mental illness and they are not each other cures' (as you saw in the last chapter)
Do you guys think I have? And if I have, how bad is it?
So, I'm debating not having them get together but to be frank, sometimes it's opening up and mental illness that creates a bond between two people.
But like....that's the whole book. Their relationship and I honestly ship them.
*sighs in confusion*
If I do an epilogue and they're together in the future, would it be realistic and practical? Or should I just do an epilogue that's not that far in the future and leaves the rest for you?
But again, I want them together--but it won't be a perfect happy ever after ending.
Can you guys vote/share your opinion, because either way, I know from the past, I will be ridiculed for whatever I choose.
Thanks for giving me your time!
