Hi everyone! I apologize once more for the long gap, I began writing this chapter (which I have had planned for months now) but couldn't seem to get it right. It's still far from perfect, but I wanted to give it to you guys. Currently, our family is celebrating a religious holiday, so I had limited technology, but I managed to do the rest of the chapter today.
This chapter is 3rd POV of Levi's friends during lunch. This is also set up for a possible spin-off.
I also want to say; it is not okay to ignore a friend or someone who seems to be in danger (but put yourself first and it's always best to guide them to professional help because it will be hard on you.) Something happened this week that kinda explains the akwardness of this message because some suicide threats can be used to exploit others...dm if you wanna hear the story)
Levi's Friends
Monday - 12:25 pm
It was easy to see what everyone was feeling.
Dina sat on the cafeteria bench, her knees to her chest. She had a melancholy look in her eyes as she read Levi's letter for the Hunden time that hour.
Alex, Black and James all sat onto of the table, each quiet in their own heads.
Alex looked especially perplexes, frowning as he stared at the clock on the wall.
James, however, seemed indifferent, he had the legacy football in his lap, holding it like it has the power of the crown.
No one in the group was talking, no one knew what to say. And no one knew if he was alive or not.
It was eerie, the silence in the Halls and cafeteria, it sounded like the type of painful silences during funerals
Dina broke the silence as she aggressively shoved her phone into her backpack.
"Any news?" she asked, her cheeks flushing red. She looked up at Alex since he seemed to be the only one sharing her hysteria and concern.
He shook his head but then opened his mouth. He cupped his phone in his hands, rubbing the screen.
"Not news," he muttered under his breath. "But, I found something interesting." he paused, "not interesting, just..."
he lost his thought, turning on and off his phone.
"Wha'that?" Mikey, a boy who loved to be in everyone's business, slurred.
Alex pulled his dangling legs onto the table's surface and sat crisscrossed.
"I met a friend of his online; he knew about Levi's mental shit and..."
"Where?" Mikey interrupted rudely.
He stared at Mikey blankly, swallowing hard. "What?"
"Where did you meet this friend?" he asked insensitively.
This wasn't supposed to be an intrusive question, but Alex looked terrified. He took his free hand and played with his curly blonde hair. (For PJO fans, I picture Alex exactly like Will Solace ....solangelo OTP)
There was something dark about his demeanor. "Online. On some game chat," he replied.
"Dude," Mikey snicked, "you play games?"
Now it was getting more and more obvious Mikey was high, his speech was mumbled and eyes bloodshot.
"I-I..fruit ninja. It was a forum on fruit ninja," the blonde boy was getting aggravated, his mind trying to catch up with what was going on.
