I felt panicked, and I froze as Hana stumbled over. She ignored me and pushed me off Chandler. She started caressing his face, and kissing him.
"Hana," he grumbled, gently pushing her off. Her eyes were frozen wide, as if she knew what was coming.
I stayed silent, sitting on the ground as Hana had pushed me. She didn't let Chandler speak, she knew already, instead she just opened her rage onto him.
"You would protect her over me!" She howled. He tried to calm her down, but she shoved him off her. He stumbled to his feet as Hana stood up. I watched him, I was begging him to just end it with her in my head. He caught my gaze.
"Hana," he put his hand on her shoulder.
"Do you love me?" She said, looking him in the eye. I felt small and awkward sitting on the ground.
"Yes I do Hana," he kept trying to calm her, but I had a feeling she was done.
"Do you love her also?" She pushed on. His face froze, and hers fell. I could see her gulp back tears, and I didn't know what to do. His hand dropped off her shoulder.
"We're over," she muttered, she walked away and Chandler stared at the ground. I didn't feel like I could say anything, I didn't know what to say. Finally when I couldn't see Hana I approached Chandler.
"I'm sorry you had to end it with her that way," I reached out and laid my hand on his shoulder.
He looked up.
"I love you," he cupped my cheek in his hand. My breath hitched, and I rested my forehead against his.
"And I hate to do this to you," he continued, regret in his voice. I backed away cautiously, my eyes watered, sensing bad news.
"I just need a break. I'm sorry I just want us to have a cleaner slate, and for it not to be so awkward, I promise I'll come back for you, but I just need some time single," he stroked my cheek and my lips parted. A tear slipped down my cheek.
"Fuck you Chandler! Fuck you for playing with my damn feelings," I backed away from him, and eventually ran to my car. As I drove away I saw him standing alone, a sad expression on his face. Well fuck it was his fault.
I walked through the door, craving a hug and an ice cream fest.
"Dad?" I yelled stuttering a bit. I heard a giggle. The giggle of a woman. I tip toed into the living room, Norman was sitting with some woman and Mingus. They were all laughing and joking. I felt a pang of jealousy, I was always used to being the only girl in the family, and the rival feminine irritated me.
"Dad?" I questioned walking into the room.
"Ashley, oh I need you to meet my girlfriend Gabriella," he grinned gesturing to the woman. She stood up, she wore a tight low cut tank top, she was very tall, obviously a model. She wore skinny jeans, and high heels. Her brown hair fell in waves. She was wearing pounds of makeup and her clothes were so tight they look like they were spray painted on.
She bent over to hug me awkwardly.
"Nice to meet you sweetie," she cooed. I tried to smile but it looked like a grimace. Norman caught my sad drift.
"What's wrong Ashley?" He asked.
"Just a fight with Chandler," I shrugged. Gabriella's eyes brightened, as if this was her moment to come rescue me from my heartbreak. As if she could show off her "motherly" skills.
"Aw do you want to talk about it? I know all about boys," she winked and gave me that 'you're-so-cute' smile.
"It was no biggie actually," I smiled. She nodded.
"Anyways, I met Gabriella a few years ago, and I decided to introduce her to you guys, she's going to have dinner with us," he smiled excitedly. I felt a bad vibe coming off of her. It felt as if there was not a single motherly bone in this woman's body.
We sat at the dinner table quietly. Mingus seemed to be taking well to Gabriella, and I hated it. There was no noise except for the clank of silverware. Finally Norman started up some small talk, I sulked and watched as Mingus, Norman, and Gabriella conversed happily.
"That was delicious," Gabriella commented cheerfully as we all finished. In my head I mimicked her stupid high-pitched voice.
"I think it's movie time!" Norman smiled brightly. We all helped clear the table, and everyone gathered in the living room.
"Hey Ash can you get us some popcorn going?" Norman asked. I nodded politely and started getting some popcorn ready. I waited by the microwave as I heard them chatting happily about which movie to watch.
I peeked over to the next room, Mingus was focused on scrolling for a movie, and Norman was smoothly talking with Gabriella, his arm around her.
"Come on Gabriella, you're my favorite girl," he smiled cheesily. I clenched my jaw, angrily I yanked out the popcorn bowl, walking into the room with it.
They were all snuggled together on the large couch, no room left for me.
"Sorry Ash, wanna sit on the other chair?" Norman commented. I put the popcorn bowl on the table, and stormed off.
"I'll talk to her after the movie," Norman comforted Gabriella. I stewed angrily, stomping up to my bedroom. I changed out of my pajamas, and put on a t-shirt and some black skinny jeans. I slid on a black hoodie, flipping on the hood. I grabbed my backpack, packing some extra clothes, and basic stuff like deodorant and my phone.
I grabbed my wallet, just in case. I scavenged under my bed, until I found the fire ladder. I threw it over my balcony and wobbly climbed down the ladder. I jumped the last few feet and landed on my feet in the grass. I tightened my hood and dashed off. I got in my car and sped away, before anyone could notice.
I drove downtown, and found a parking garage to leave my car in until I needed it. It was late, and I held my backpack straps tightly as I roamed the streets. I kept my face in the safety of the shade of my hood.

So it seems like Ashley is running away? I promise things will be turning up soon, I just want to make it an interesting plot. How did everyone like last nights episode of TWD? I'm so excited about this new season. Sorry this might be a short Authors Note but I don't have much to share.
