The rest of the classes flew by. After school I walked to the parking lot with chandler. I cringed when I realized my ride was moving to Georgia.

"Do you need a ride?" Chandler pressed a button on his keys and a black Ferrari blinked its lights.

"I do actually, Wes was my ride home," I blushed and chandler smiled. I got into the passenger seat.

The car smelled like a little bit of cologne. Chandler revved the engine as I gave him directions. We finally pulled up to my apartment. Chandler raised his eyebrow at me. A few pedestrians stared at chandlers car in shock.

"You sure I can leave you here?" He looked at the broken beer bottles scattered on the sidewalk, and the graffiti on every alley wall.

"Yeah. It's fine trust me," I smiled. He frowned.

"I'll walk you up," he said getting out of the car.

"You really don't have to," I insisted.

"I am, really I'm not leaving unless I walk you up," he smirked a little.

I sighed, he wasn't going to budge. I pulled my apartment keys out of my pocket. We walked up to my apartment. I stood outside my door.

"I'm good now, you can go," I said giving him an assuring smile.

"Come on, I'll walk you in," he insisted.

I sighed and unlocked the door and quietly opened it. To my relief my dad wasn't anywhere in sight.

"Alright I'm okay see?" I smiled and stepped inside.

"Ashley! There's a fucking caterpillar in the bathtub!" I heard my dad yell and I cringed.

"Who's that?" Chandler looked a little surprised.

"My dad," I gave him an embarrassed smile. I heard heavy footsteps and my dad stepped into the living room.

His shirt was disheveled and he was wearing jeans and a wife beater. His hair was messy and his eyes had their usual look.

"Listen chandler you should go," I rushed out trying to push him out the door.

"Ashley! Where the fuck have you been all day?!" My dad yelled. Chandler didn't budge.

"I've been at school," I sighed, trying to usher chandler outside.

"Chandler can you please leave," I pleaded.

"Alright, but if you need me call me," he gave me a worried look before heading out.

"Who the fuck was that," my dad growled.

"Nobody," I hissed.

My dad approached me quickly and slapped me across the face. My cheek stung. I put my hand over my cheek and tears came to my eyes.

My dad looked dazed. He muttered something about sleep and he collapsed on the couch.

I sighed as I pressed some ice on my cheek.

Someone knocked on my door and I opened it. I was shocked to see Norman standing at my door.

He looked shocked.

"For a second I thought I had the wrong address," he joked.

"Yeah, hopefully I'm moving out soon," I smiled. I quickly hid my ice pack behind my back. Luckily, he didn't notice.

"Anyways, I came to drop off your script," he handed me a thick booklet and I took it.

"Thank you so much," I smiled.
